Does anyone know where it stores the temp file during download? I'd like to remove it via the terminal to get my 12GB back before trying again.

Tried /library/updates but nothing there of any real size.

Same here, I can't complete the download, it gives me an error:

Can't start the download anymore now.

Can we at least get an email or notification once this is fixed? I am tired of looking every now and then if the "Installation failed" message will not show up this time.

And on the same day, iMessage just won't activate on my new iPhone. What a pain. Not a smooth transition day.

I managed to update one of my boxes to 11.0.1 20B29, but now I'm trying to update another box, and the download link is busted and now 'Forbidden.' I wonder what's going on??

Anyone else having issues in general - forget downloading, I can't open word/excel when connected to the internet. Is MacOS really reaching out to apple servers every time i launch an app?
