After the upgrade, my console.app is still reporting "Month 13 is out of bounds". Come on, Apple, please fix this.

Still cannot install High Sierra. 3 year old iMac. Fails during firmware check. Never installed Beta anything. No one (not even the best and brightest here) have any idea how to fix this.

Thats a bunch of nonsense. Firmware updates fail all the time. I cannot install High Sierra on my iMac, as it is failing the firmware check. My 3 year old computer has the wrong firmware, and not Apple or anyone else can tell me how it got that way or how to fix it. It is literally impossible to fix.

After installing and rebooting a process called "rapportd" asked for incoming connections to be allowed in the FW.

Looked around and couldn't find any reference. Anyone have more information?

macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 updated fixed the graphical glitches I was having on my MacBook Pro 2015 15" Retina w/ AMD Radeon M370X 2GB GPU. It only happens with using a second display set as the main screen, and the graphical glitch happens on log off or restart or shut down. The updated fixed it. Thank you, Apple Inc.!

I was looking for USB devices and got excited for a second then saw the audio. I guess Apple has no time fixing external hdd ejecting when my iMac goes to sleep. When I wake-up my Mac there were like over 10 warnings saying I didn’t eject my hard drive properly. SMH!

there are 2 decent 3rd party ( i know :/ ) apps that work great : Automounter & Jettison : both have served me well

I can see this being very annoying. I really really want to update but ever since trying out the first version which rendered my computer nearly useless, I'm too scared to even try this .2 release. Implementing APFS has been a drag for Apple, apparently... :(

L.E. yay, apparently El Cap got another Security Update, along with Safari. No news about this, even in the Mac Blog... just iTunes...

This should be front page news, not something about Amazon Prime, with all the respect.

I took the risk and updated. Install was smooth. No issues for me.

But...that was just my experience. Always remember to backup before updating!

Security updates for El Capitan and Sierra have also been released at:

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1945?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

and

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1940?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

EDIT:

ALERT: DON’T install the el capitan security update from the link provided above. It is corrupted and may result in a boot loop. Install from the mac app store instead or download and install it from these links in this order, which is what the mac app store uses:

Thanks a lot for posting this. It's always awesome when someone quickly figures this out and shares it with the community!

Personally, I liked it when MacRumors did it so we didn’t have to. Now I see the users report before MacRumors does. :D

is High Sierra still garbage?

Pretty much. It’s the best garbage in town, after Linux for geeks, of course.

Now Finder unresponsive. Force quit it. Nothing. Launched activity monitor got the menu and selected restart. Now it’s just the pinwheel for the last 10 min. Ridiculous Apple. Can you focus on your OS instead of Emoji and trying to be a Hollywood kissarse.

Try resetting NVRAM. These days macSO updates are causing problems in memory access frequently...
