I completely forgot about this. Are there any known issues with Adobe CC, MS Office, or any other apps that usually have problems? I'm really looking forward to dark mode, but I gave my personal MacBook Pro to my grandpa and only have a work MacBook Pro now so I don't want to mess it up. I'm wanting to buy a desktop sometime next year after I see what the Mac Pro is all about.

Sigh. Using "Back to my Mac" one last time to kick off the upgrade on my home iMac so it'll be done when I get home. Unfortunately, upgrading the iMac to Mojave removes back to my mac functionality so this is only fitting :(

Been using screens for that purpose ever since some russians figured out how to hack into my mac using back to my mac...

I am sad about this too, my solution was to buy Screens for OSX and iOS. Yes it was an expensive freaking purchase since you have to buy on OSX and iOS but they do make a great product. There is a free trial and I would highly suggest checking it out, it is kind of nice to be able to remote into my Mac from my iPhone/iPad if needed, something back to my back was not able to do. Luckily its a one time purchase and done.

It's under Utilities Category in the App Store. I pressed Download and seems to be taking a while...

Should I wait for the prompt to update or force download it from the App Store Utilities Category?

I am asking because I don't know which is which...

I don't see it yet and I keep refreshing the page and clicking software update from the apple about this Mac menu

A very sad and depressing day to all of us who still using an older Mac from 2009, 2010, or 2011...

What were the reason for dropping those? ( Apart from pushing people to buy newer Mac ? ) I think 2011 MacBook Pro would have a 64bit CPU ?

Anyone on beta, and now release, tell me what it was like on a 2012 iMac please?

This is the minimum allowed now, and be last, so wonder if they've done anything like iOS to keep with older ones running better?

Thanks

You can use macOS Server app to enable VPN like Back to my Mac functionality...

I just realized two of my Macs are from 2011 just because I didn't get the prompt to update (a Mac Mini and my mom's MacBook Air). Incredible how well designed these devices are, 7 years later they are still good enough.

Annoyingly the download seems to be getting throttled. :( I'm on a gigabit connection at work, and the first third of the download was at near-gigabit speed, then it got throttled and now it's only pushing about 2-3MBytes/sec at most.

Nice tease, Apple servers. :p
