Annoyingly the download seems to be getting throttled. :( I'm on a gigabit connection at work, and the first third of the download was at near-gigabit speed, then it got throttled and now it's only pushing about 2-3MBytes/sec at most.

Nice tease, Apple servers. :p

Same here. It is downloading for me at a turtle's pace. Like, 1 Turtle Step Per Minute...

Is the install process different if you download it from the App Store vs. installing it as an update that gets pushed to you?

Edit: Oops, what he said (above this post).

Do those of us on the beta have to pull it down from the App Store, or should Software Update pick it up?

I'm on the beta, and didn't get a software update notification.

I decided to download the installer (I like to have a copy of it anyway) and am just going to run another installation to make sure I'm on the right build.

Sigh. Using "Back to my Mac" one last time to kick off the upgrade on my home iMac so it'll be done when I get home. Unfortunately, upgrading the iMac to Mojave removes back to my mac functionality so this is only fitting :(
I got a SonicWall TZ210 (Amazon ± $70.00) so I could VPN to my network, then I can use ScreenSharing or whatever I want to access my Mac and NAS remotely. This way, you don’t depend on your Mac having to be ON 24/7. It could be sleeping, and once you connect to your network and try to access it, it will wake up.
