Nothing showing up in Software Update on my M1 MBA in the UK.

It's showing: "Your Mac is up to date -macOS Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559)"
Same here, seems like the update is not available for M1 Air's? Anybody have any luck with an M1 Air?

Safari is still not 120Hz the MR site isn’t butter smooth like the pad I think the pictures slow it down and causing jitters

My Lightroom Catalog is completely screwed since I did the upgrade this afternoon. I have restored the catalog 3 times from my backup (made yesterday), and it keeps getting corrupted. Warning to lightroom users...

I would be curious to hear if other Lightroom users have had problems.

No issues with my LR catalog since the upgrade.

I had the same issue with my M1 Pro, Apple TV and Watch. I rebooted my router and modem and suddenly they are all downloading the update. Makes no sense, but they're working. After fighting with them for an hour.

I hear ya. I'm somewhat mixed on the issue myself. Burn in is one problem, the other issue is lower max brightness. I think these displays are just about perfect, sans the inexcusably slow response time. Really strange how slow these are regardless of being LED.
I agree these are great displays but the brightness on my LG C1 feels eye searing at its peak, plus true blacks make peak brightness less of an issue in my opinion.

Strangely I've always beens someone who has used high end gaming PC's and was an early adopter of high refresh rate GSync displays and found myself very sensitive to latency. Yet on my MacBook I really don't notice a latency issue - mind you, I don't game on it, I imagine if I went back to FPS like counterstrike I'd quickly be bothered by it but my Mac has never been for gaming.

I'd say it's the best LCD display I've ever seen, but still not as good as OLED which just pops in comparison. OLED wins hands down for gaming though.

MacBook Pro 14 display put my $5000 UST Projector to shame.

By the way, Safari 15.2 - 120hz smooth scrolling.
testufo.com is still showing 60Hz.

Yeh probably the best LCD display I've ever seen, but it's still second to OLED.

It looks like it might be in an instal loop. M1 Pro; I hope not it’s a new computer that isn’t completely backed up yet

Updated 16" M1X MBP.

Apple have learned nothing about keeping the user informed during the update process. The progress bar on the 3GB downloaded proceeded normally, then got completely stuck at "preparing update" with an estimated time of 30 minutes to go. The best part of an hour later, nothing had changed, including the progress bar. Then it popped up a notification inviting a restart (password required).
Same thing happened to me, except I never got a notification to restart. I ended up looking at the modem, and my modem won’t reset correctly anymore. I need service tech to swap modems.

The iPhone and iPad updated fine, I started updating the watch, but it stopped at “could not verify” because the modem went out. Same with the Mac as you described. Stuck at 30 min to prepare the update.

The modem was fine before.

?‍♂️

Time machine still broken on my M1 Pro MBP. Same behavior as before the update; Will not complete an initial backup, but no error. It just stops after “preparing backup”.
