About friggin' time. Seems to work great. Everything in general seems a bit more fluid and fast.

Happy to report the update fixed the issue causing kernel panics when watching HDR on YouTube. Anybody know when Universal Control is supposed to arrive? Apple originally said "coming later this fall..."

Ive been saying it since beta, but Safari runs at around 100-110 hz while scrolling. Its not perfect yet as there is a little jitter here and there. Chrome runs pretty good at 120hz as well.
Unfortunately, it's never going to look as good as it could because of the screen's slow response time. Really handicaps the advantages of having a 120hz refresh rate.

I wish it was OLED. I've seen some Dell XPS laptops and their OLED displays look staggeringly good. I know there are burn in issues, but still. The pictures quality + response times are easily worth the trade off. The only non-OLED device I now own is my 14" MacBook Pro.

I hear ya. I'm somewhat mixed on the issue myself. Burn in is one problem, the other issue is lower max brightness. I think these displays are just about perfect, sans the inexcusably slow response time. Really strange how slow these are regardless of being LED.

MacBook Pro 14 display put my $5000 UST Projector to shame.

By the way, Safari 15.2 - 120hz smooth scrolling.

You were and are 100% right. It’s super obvious. Not sure why folks on the beta were arguing with you. Clear as day. Safari 120hz. Mem leaks are gone too!
