That orange... I don't known, man... something about that just... damn... hits me in all the right spots...
BASTARDS! I JUST BOUGHT THE FREAKIN SILVER ONE LAST WEEK...
Ooooh, Wait... I bought it at Target... means I have a month to take it back...
YEAH!
I think some of you guys need to take a valium. At the end of the day, Apple wants to make money and considering the silver iPod shuffle sold loads, they've made it more tempting for the public to buy an iPod shuffle as they have a choice of color. PS. I have an iPod and now I'm actually tempted to buy an iPod shuffle!
I'm lucky I bought mine within the last week at Target... if I had bought it sooner, I'd still have gone out and bought ANOTHER shuffle (this one to be Orange)...
I mean, it's a good strategy on Apple's part if you care about them being a sustainable long term profitable company.
The dang things are only $79...
I know $79 isn't a whole lot to everybody... but... seriously... most SUVS cost about $50 to fill up right now... so..
The money is almost slip-between-the-cushin money ...
I just ordered my Orange off the Apple Store... can't WAIT for it.
BTW... of topic, but sorta ON topic... as we're talking about Apple's selling strategies...
Has anyone noticed that Microsoft used to be just 100x more profitable than Apple...
And now Apple has 3% market share compared to about 90% for Microsoft... yet, Apple made NEARLY 1/2 the total revenues of Microsoft for the last fiscal year??? Some 20Billion for Apple to almost $44Billion for Microsoft.
That has GOTTA be a slap in the face for Microsoft, wouldn't you say?
Just think how much money Apple would be making if IT had 90% of the marketshare instead...

Would it be in the Trillions?
