How did sliced bread not make it in there?
The new MacBook Pro with Touchbar. The best thing since, uh, toilet paper?

You're not daft as I have the foggiest of ideas. Only thing I honestly thought was incandescent light bulbs are yesteryear's technology as is the f-row, so with the bulbs gone, we can now embrace touch!!!!!!Maybe I’m a bit daft, but what exactly do the exploding lightbulbs mean?
This form has always been critical, but within the last two years the mood has severely shifted. Is it people have become more critical, or Apple's bar is WAY down with Captain Dongle head in change.
I think it's the latter, with Tim Cook only out doing himself with stupider products. You can say you are surprised, I was surprised with a 10k gold product but wasn't too surprised that it only lasted one year :S

This video to me has the undertone, that so many roads close and other approaches disappear because somebody else decides how I should use my tools.
Thats exactly the point. We usually associate an new idea with a light that goes on and not out.

The function key row hosts volume and brightness.I think the Touch Bar is a neat future, to be honest. The Function key row goes unused for most people in their daily computing and this lets that space be what it needs to be. You don't need to sell me on that, Apple.
You just need to put it on a computer that's more function for everything else.
True, I think Apple have lost the plot comparing the touch panel to the true innovations in that video.Penicillin was a discovery that moved the world forward; Touch Bar is a pressure-sensitive strip on a laptop keyboard.
This ad smacks of arrogance.
don't get the idea why that many bulbs have to be destroyed… (real or rendered)
would be better to just turn them on one by one

Keep it to 30 seconds < and keep it precise.
I think you guys missed the point of the ad... They are calling it a tool for great ideas, not necessarily the great idea itself. That's why they kept showing the guy making fire using simple tools like rocks.
I got that perfectly fine, and the fact that you all view that in a positive light is baffling to me.
When you look at all the ways Apple has given us creative pros the middle finger over the last 5 years this ad is really like the ultimate kick-in-the-crotch to top it all off.
I've been an Apple-lover for 15 years and this ad seems to really be a great big final ****-you to people like me. Like they're gloating over the way they've treated us.
You think maybe THAT's where the negative reactions are coming from? And not that we didn't "get it?"
Maybe they're having a dig at SamsungThis ad tells me that the quality of their products are explosive.
Congrats. Apple is now making exploding light bulbs
