My ANC improved greatly. It is so good, it feels like it smothers every sound. I have no idea why some people are having it worse, but mine is the best I’ve ever heard, err, not heard. They are better than earplugs, which I tested this morning when I had to sleep through 3 hours of leaf blowers outside. The earplugs muffled it somewhat, but not enough. The APP2 smothered the sound so well that I woke up five hours later with the APP2 still in my ears.
My Airpods Pro 2 firmware is stuck at 6A301, but the case is upgraded to 60.82.0. Did all tips all over the internet but the buds never upgraded. Anyone who experienced this?
Even connecting to my Mac or iPad Pro via USB C, my Airpods didn’t update. Out of desperation, I disconnected my Airpods from my devices and connected it to my wife’s iPhone because her Airpods updated without any hitch.
Guess what, it worked!
All my devices [Mac, iPad Pro, iPhone] are on beta, perhaps that’s the reason. Or some bug involving my iCloud account.
Confused about the current firmware version. My APP2 (lightning) currently show 6A305. Going to Apple’s site re latest firmware shows 6A303. So, they haven’t update their own site yet?
Been having a lot of problems with Find My telling me I’ve left my AirPods behind even though they’re in my pocket. Have had the problem for years the last update seemed to have made it worse so hopefully this new one resolves some of that.
I don't carry them around with me a lot, but yesterday I got 6 "left behind" notifications throughout the day despite being in my pocket the whole time. I even checked the FindMy map, which showed them with me and opened the lid several times. Whatever the mechanism for telling FindMy their current location, it's not working at all.
Note that I have a brand new iPhone 15 Pro and had to add them fresh as a new device at that time.
Firmware for AirPods gen 1 is latest as per Apple (6A300). Cannot seem to find what is the latest FW for the Pro first gen (Lightning) charging case. Mine is showing version 1.4.0
