Arn - thanks again:
I know some folks have reported 1,2...347 problems, but I, like many others, are chugging along just fine, and better still, WE HAVE WORKING PHONES TODAY and can afford to wait a few days to "downgrade" to 1,1 when the activation system levels out. Only "Arns Army" of gun jumpers are working today with v.2.0 phones.![]()
either nobody wants to help or they just dont know
I have EVERYTHING WORKING. i have my app store i have my bars i have my phone online everythin

I'm glad I did the downloaded update link already......
Now I'm back into lockstep with the Apple dictatorship. Heil Steve.

We could not complete your iTunes Store request.
The network connection was reset.
Make sure your network connection is active and try again.
This is neverending!!! 2.0 is on, but it has taken about 30 min to re-sync everything. I have to be out the door in 5 min, with or without this damn phone!
I wonder if Apple and/or AT&T will do anything to compensate the throngs of users who lose phone service for what will end up being "extensive" periods of time? Apple and AT&T need to be held responsible and accountable for this debacle. Apple certainly fuels the upgrade fire to generate interest and sales. Wow, what a surprise, people respond! Attached to that effort is the responsibility to provide service to their customers who make a rather significant financial commitment to the company and product. Clearly, this is a real burden on the customer as well as a PR nightmare for both companies.
It will be interesting to see the spin put forth as a result of this memorable event!
Umm, sorry to show no pity whatsoever, but I've been messing with this since 8:00am EST. It is now 1:30pm EST and I still have a non-functioning iPhone.
