Eh... I've been testing the El Capitan betas. The SMB issues are still there every bit as much as they were in Mavericks.

After the update, I've had five disconnects in the last hour alone.

These are new Alkaline batteries, with a 98% charge at last check.Try a different brand of batteries in your Bluetooth accessory, especially if they are rechageable..
No fix for universal USB audio. Zoom R16 is still out of service. Was told by Zoom support that a fix would be delivered in early December, and was secretly hoping this was it. No dice. I'm optimistic Zoom will have a driver out before the 15th.
My 2011 iMac did that every now and then. Eventually binned it off and got a 5K one. Awesome bit of kit.
Dual Booting OS X Mavericks and OS X El Capitan here on my mid-2011 iMac. Whilst I agree on the stability of Mavericks performance wise (on my hardware at least) El Capitan noticeably has the edge.Don't really care about ElCapitan, Downgraded to Mavericks a month ago, enjoying speed and stability.
Apple will continue to push regular updates to El Capitan to keep it running smoothly until the next major operating system update, expected in late 2016.

Thought issues with "wifi disconnecting after sleep" will get resolved with this update. But no luck. Anybody having a resolution for this issue?
Hopefully the update will not cause the freeze on restart after update issue that 10.11.1 caused for me and many others. The issue that some may say "bricks" computers.
Does safari feel snappier? It's not a joke. Safari is really lagging now...
