Battery Life

Big improvement on the battery life.

Before the update, I was getting about 45 minutes of battery life (original 2008 unibody macbook battery), now, I've been at 75% on screen lighting and have been unplugged for 1 hour and have 43% battery still remaining.

When ever i open VLC/iphoto/premiere pro screen turn bluish and it will be all fine after quitting the app. Anyone else facing the same issue ? and when i disable auto switching screen turns bluish too.

Never faced this problem with previous 10.8.2 builds.

Facebook Integration

When I go into mail, contacts and calendars to set up Facebook I get the rainbow wheel of death every time! Anyone else?

"Txt'ing" my other iOS friends via my Mac using my Phone number is totally kick ass.

Still can't seem to get this to work, not seeing any option in my Mac about merging my phone number. I have yet to install iOS6 on my 4S, could this be the problem?

Also not seeing any type of iPhoto or Aperture updates.

If you sync your facebook contacts with contacts on your Mac (or iOS), does it pull down every fb contact you have and add it? Or can you selectively add from lists on fb to add? I certainly don't need every fb contact I have added to my contacts list on my mac, iphone or ipad.

Unfortunately it adds EVERY FB contact.

Yes, many people have confirmed that you need to install iOS 6 first, before you can sync all your Messages apps.

Still having no luck, this is what I'm looking at if it helps :/
With my luck I'm probably looking at the completely wrong thing haha

Finally got it to work :D
1st
Make sure you have updated to iOS 6 on the iPhone.
2nd
Sign out from the iMessage account (in iMessages preferences)

Once you try to sign in again you'll get a prompt to merge
your iMessage email and phone number.

I still don't have the power nap option on my late 2010 macbook air?? Anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve it?

I've gotten the prompt, on both the mac and phone, but on the Mac the old messages are not synced in yet. But when I send a new one from the phone it arrives in the messages app as well. FYI

I like the new iMessage on all of my devices but I would like to CLEAR the messages and then have then CLEAR on all my other devices as well. Right now it appears to only remove the messages from the device I CLEAR them on. Kind of a hassle to have to go into each device and CLEAR them. I have a MacBook Air, iPhone and iPad. I will be get a Mac Mini when/if they release a new model. So 4 devices to manage.

Exactly, also waiting for this !

Seeing this exact same thing. Anybody know when the updates for iPhoto and Aperture will be out?

I saw it in App Store app which offered iPhoto 9.4. Grabbed it and the "Update" option left myiCloud pref and was replaced with "Options".

Combos

haven't seen an answer, so I'm just going to go for it. When I click on the apple icon and then software update on my mac, it then just brings up one option with an update button, so I'm going to go with that an assume my mac knows what it needs. :)

Combo updates contain all the updates for that version of OSX in one package.

So if you are any version of ML, 10.8.0 or 10.8.1 - the Combo updater is will work and update you to 10.8.2. The non-combo update will only take you from 10.8.1 to 10.8.2.

I just signed into Facebook, and it put all of my friends into my contact book which pretty much made it impossible to navigate. I want the facebook integration but that address book skewing is killing me. I couldn't imagine scrolling through 500+ names in my iPhone when I want to call my parents or something.

Make a group for family

So I just installed the update but I am unable to find any reference to Facebook on my system. Where do you "single sign on" to Facebook?
