This is new
Try if resetting Safari helps, or log into a different User (or make a new User) and try if that makes a difference.
If it works better within a new User Account the your normal User Account seems to be the problem.
The explicit hiding of the Shared folder (ie if you make Users visible, Shared remains invisible) is a bizarre decision by Apple. I'm not sure how you're expected to interact with this folder now?User and Shared missing here - shame on you Apple!
What's your problem with Mail? Be specific.
I really hope it fixes my wifi issues.
What kind of WiFi issues are you having? I just changed my WiFi over to Ubiquiti and my Retina MacBook Pro has a hard time connecting to the access points.
Hoping this update fixes it but the release notes don't mention anything.

The Shared on my Mac contains the Parallels image, BBC iPlayer downloads, font libraries, plus regular 'shared documents'. It would contain a whole lot more if the iTunes Library and family photos weren't stored on other partitions.
Did testers experience this? It's starting to feel more like a bug than a feature.
The Internet connection stops working erratically even though it's still connected. There are threads about this on Apples support forums and no one has any idea how to fix it. Same issue on my Air and Retina both after updating to Mavericks. Well my Retina came with Mavericks.
Yes, I'm seeing this occasionally on both OS X Mavericks and OS X Mountain Lion actually. One computer is a rMBP mid 2012, the other a MBP late 2008. Turning off the WiFi and then on again usually fixes it.
I'd also like to see a fix here, obviously. I guess we'll just have to wait... It happens to me perhaps once every week or every other one. Doesn't seem too annoying but it can be if you don't know what's going on, or if the laptop is unattended and downloading something.
That's just what I could think of right now. I don't consider myself a power user, but apparently, I expect more from my mail client than the average user. I have reported many of these bugs to Apple and while they do acknowledge them, I am yet waiting for a fix.
I noticed the mail DB is being rebuilt in 10.9.3. Let's hope for the best!
461mb on 2011 MBP, hope it finally adds the retina display!
darn, no mention of fix for gpu-kernel panics w/ mid-2010 mbp's.
i guess i will have to go back down to OSX Lion for a more stabler experience with my mbp.
but downloading 10.9.3 now anyway and see what happens.
I just updated 4 more 2010 iMacs from 10.9.2 to.3 trying different order variations of restarting, repairing permissions, and opening finder. All still show the User folders.
I also updated a 2009 iMac running 10.9.0 to .3 and that one showed the User folders as well.
Yeah, somehow it inverted your screen, and also your reflection
Do they show the folder containing the user folders called users?
24p playback has been available for a long time. That is how I watch my bluray rips on my projector using a mini-DVI to HDMI adapter on my 2007 24" iMac.
