Actually it wasn't the GM which was pulled. People who attempted to get the GM today merely got DP7 because that was the last available full installer. So it was DP7 redemption codes that were pulled, not the GM.

It was listed as GM with today as the release date on the dev page before it was pulled. I saw it. That's why I downloaded it. Actually it still is except the code you clicked on is now grayed out. That's the only way to download OS X seeds now. By way of a code from the App Store.

Yeah. But the full installer that downloaded was actually DP7. Several people in apple's developer forums who not only downloaded but also installed it have said that. So it may have been listed as GM but what actually installed was DP7.

I run Aperture just fine in the latest Dev build. No hiccups that I've run across and I run Aperture at least 3 times a week.
Thanks a lot.

I'll be looking forward to upgrading then.

This time around I'm still safe it seems. The party can be over any day though.
Gotta love this hot mess...

I downloaded using the GM redeem code link from the Developer Center earlier and ended up with 10.11 Beta (15A263e) but I'm now showing an El Capitan Developer Beta 8 update in the App Store.... downloading now.

Update - beta 8 installed and now on 10.11 Beta (15A279b)

Sounds like somebody dropped the ball behind the scenes. Wonder if he/she still has a job!

PS - Last time around I actually updated the GM to the public release and there WERE differences, improvements. Will do that again when the time comes.

Question:

May the GM be installed over the latest public beta?

yes, when a GM is released, it will likely go to PB users, and when the final release comes out it will install over your PB or GM.

Release on September 30? Can't believe that. iOS 9 will be released on September 16, which would mean I can't read the notes taken in iOS 9 from September 16 to September 30 on my mac? That would be.. ugly. So I suspect Apple will release the new OS X together with the new iOS
you can upgrade your notes/reminders later

Looks like it's available again.
