Logic Pro X

Right on time! dp3 made new Logic Pro X's "drummer" glitch graphically.
All this is gone now and everything works.

Not sure about battery drain.. could be because it's so hot here at the moment, fans run high most of the time.

I like how game center, reminders are still Skeuomorphic. They forget about them? They fixed contacts, notes and calendar...

I still cannot look a word up by tapping three finger. It has been here since the first dp. I just worked once then has gone.

AND,

Whenever I try to enable, an empty box appears and ta da, nothing happens. Then I quitted system preferences, tried again, something happened again and again. How can I overcome this situations.

Why are you guys so eager about iBooks for OSX? You better buy books for Kindle, so you can read them at any device you want... you're not bound to Apple then.

And there's a kindle-app on the mac already, with sync and everything.

Exactly my thinking. I started with the kindle books for that reason. If Apple would have had iBooks on the Mac from the very beginning it might have been different but for me is too late.

Hope they've updated the Reminders & Messages UI... they are some fugly apps right there, haha :)

I hope so but 6 pages later we still have people whining about iBooks even though the issue was already talked about at WWDC (honestly guys, watch the damn video, it is free of charge and it would stop the thread from getting clogged up with stupid questions) and not a single person addressing the issue you've raised. Gah so many people on Macrumors are so damn annoying.

Because I like beautiful looking apps, not just any app that shows text. And since I prefer beauty, I only have Apple devices.

Possible responses to this:

  • Yes, because only Apple knows how to make something attractive. They are the masters of all beauty on this world.

  • I, too, buy books for them to sit looking pretty on the shelf (virtual or otherwise). What other use for books would I have?
  • Skeuomorphism is sold by the gram to this fellow. That mirror he carries isn't just for gazing at himself wistfully.

I use Kindle on my Mac.....and is not very good app at all! Track pad and mouse are useless.
On the plus side....it does work on any device (mac, windows laptop, iOS, android, win phone).

iBooks will probably be a free App Store download that will require 10.9.

10.9 may even be free!

Installed dp4 and my Mac Pro 2008 can no longer boot it. Stuck on apple logo. Spinning progress indicator spins, then pauses, then spins again getting "darker" each time until it appears black and you can no longer tell its spinning at all. Just a warning...

Update: I was able to get it to boot by unplugging my oculus vr from the dvi port.

Same problem here. My MPB won´t boot unless you unplug the external display. Very annoying bug ...
