Whats going to be new in iTunes 12 other the design and icon is changed I mean, yeah it is flatter but are we finally going to get HD music, is iTunes radio going to be improved and will they finally go in the direction of Amazon Prime music and Spotify?

All I see iTunes looks flatter and makes me wonder what improvement is this going to bring to the store.

has anyone been able to test the html5 netflix streaming in Yosemite? If so, has anyone been able to test it on older machines? really curious to know if my 2007 MBP will support this feature...

According to this thread it requires sandy bridge (2011 or later).

that iTunes logo is terrible

Better than the old one. It's still a circle, but at least it isn't blue. I have way too many blue circles in my dock.

What does the "Get Info" window in iTunes 12 look like? The notes mention that it's been re designed.

Any improvements to iTunes' AppleScript support? E.g. being able to script the up-next list or genius functionality?

Where are all those people complaining that Apple was dumb to replace the original iTunes icon with the new one now?

I'm not sure if this option was in the previous preview, but now there is an option in the general settings to "use dark menu bar and Dock".

what?

Modern look? Umm... this **** looks like websites we had back in the 90's

It works fine but currently on 'normal' Macs it need CPU with Quick sync.
I'm not sure about Mac pro's if someone can test will be good to know.

Anyone confirm that when you have multiple TV Shows, that each Season has its own artwork displayed - even though its group together as a show. I still hate it in the current iTunes, that a TV Show will display the "last" Season artwork overall, even if you click through the previous one. Biggest thing that annoyed me and hope it gets fixed with iTunes 12.

still shows the latest artwork even if you have more than one season in one tv hsow

iTunes Match still isn't loading for me to be able to "get info" a song, but here is a general idea.

You must be still using a non-Retina screen. On my Retina Macbook Pro the new iTunes looks absolutely gorgeous. Retina screens make text and photos look very good. Almost like a printed sheet of paper. The flat designs bring out this effect nicely. The older skeumorphic designs served to help hide the ugly pixelated text caused by the lower quality screens.

I'm loving that interface. I think Apple absolutely nailed how to bring clarity to the desktop UI through the use of flatter graphical elements. iOS7 was ok, but this is fantastic. It's an excellent blend. Well done.

Is the "install OS X updates" new?

I never noticed it before, but I'll be eternally grateful if it will auto update OS X versions from now on! No more having to manually do the families computers.

(sorry for the chopped pic, had to hide my email and that was the quick and easy way)
