Haha, even worse, they took Apple's Expose feature to Windows 10.

I saw that!! Actually I am surprised that it took them so long to integrate/copy such a good feature.
But I see that they are still stubborn on their idea that it gives good user experience to keep the mobile vs PC interface very similar.

I'm too scared to do this. I want to so bad!

1. make a bootable disk clone (e.g. with ccc)
2. upgrade
3. if you love it, keep it - if you hate it (or it breaks things): boot from clone and clone your backup back - nothing lost.

That is how I always approach beta/GM releases or (major) upgrades in general.

Or install in a separate partition.

Strange build number for a GM, maybe this isn't the final build after all...

Slow slow download, ended up VPNing from the UK to Los Angeles - update downloading ten times faster now :apple:

YES! I might do a complete fresh install on my rMBP. Luckily its pretty simple with a time capsule and all my files stored there. :D

Not working for me on my iPhone 6+ and my retinaMBP.
Working on my 2013 iMac and 6+.

As soon as I installed and restarted Yosemite, I opened the Messages app in OS X and it immediately asked if I wanted to use that feature with my iPhone, I said Yes and it gave me a code to enter on my iPhone.
I unlocked my iPhone and a prompt popped up asking to enter the code from my iMac.

After that, it works.

I'm also on iOS 8.1...

Code? I didn't get asked about that

EDIT: the function was auto turned off. After turning it on it prompted the code

I have not done a fresh install since probably Tiger ... even when I get a new machine I just clone the drive from the old one to the new one. Never had any issues. And I had a few betas in the mix of upgrades.

i installed the gm and have ios8 on my iphone 6 plus when i open imessages on mac it doesnt give me an option?

Ill hold off on installing Yosemite.. Seeing as how buggy iOS8 still is... Will probably be the same with OS X... Apple needs to get their things together
