I'm installing it on my M1 MacBook Air now... checking to see how fast it is (I'm on a very fast internet connection)....
 
Won't instal for me on my iPhone or my iPad as it fails to verify "because you are enough longer connected to the internet" which is not the case.
That was my experience as well. Saw others complaining about it on Reddit. Looks like Apple screwed the pooch on this one.

Can't install. How embarrassing for Apple! Can't even put out a software update.

Maybe it is a little hyperbole, but this is embarrassing for a multi-billion dollar company to put out a "rapid" security update that doesn't work. I came back to apple last year mainly because I like the podcasts on Apple and there was a specific app that Apple had that Android did not. Since then the quality control has been fishy to say the least. I'm not going to go back to Android (I promised myself I'm not going to buy Apple Products this year since I did it all last year) but this is terrible.

If anyone else suffers from "my devices are not all up to date" OCD issues get in touch for a mental health class action suit against Apple. Butterfly keyboard II....
