Apple won't admit it, but that whole little round icon was a UI experiment that looked cool but not as functional as a scroll list.
Nope, I like it and find it useful on such a small screen. I know immediately where to look and to tap.
The home screen might not be as used as often to get familiar with for a lot of people, but if you do, it’s great on such a small device.

Still not available for me, sooooooo annoying. I removed my iOS 11 beta profile too and still no luck. Restarted both devices many times.

I have a series 0 Apple watch. Any chance the new models do the OS update faster? Getting a series 3 Friday. Would be nice if future watch OS updates don't take half a day.

Whilst watching the keynote I decided to stick with my SS s0. The hours it takes to update, like right now, have me thinking about a s3. Will see how watchOS4 behaves once installed (if I ever get to the end of this wretched install)

It wasn’t an “experiment.” It made the first AW look interesting in its sales videos. To hell whether it was functional.

Still not available on my Series 0. I have ios11 installed on the phone. Tried restarting the phone and watch with no luck. Also closed the watch app and still no love.
Not here in the Tar Heel State either. These things have been known to roll out geographically to minimize server slam.

I ask Siri “play Coldplay radio” using my watch and it finds the station on my iPhone and plays. Is this no longer an option? Will it only play music synced on my Watch?

I can not confirm that. I could never bring myself to ask siri to play coldplay. You threw that one right to me.

My lord, why does it take hours to update your watch.....
I’d guess it has to do with individual WiFi speeds, as well as with Apple’s server load. Sometimes slow WiFi may mean a long download. Fast WiFi may not mean a fast download.
Mine downloaded in 30mins, on a 60mbps business line, and took another 30 to fully install.

Mine is now down to 46 mins. iOS 11 was 2 gig and downloaded to the iPad and iPhone in about 5 minutes. Been about an hour now for 50mb and watchOS4. Think the servers are hammered but the updates usually take a while.

I have AT&T Gigabit service, it downloaded in less than a min, then transferring to the watch and installing takes forever....

The iPhone has to be patched first, followed by the Apple Watch. Then of course, you have to factor in Apple servers are likely on overload and Wi-Fi speeds to be considered as well.

The download of an hour there really isn't an excuse for. Apple had plenty of time to set aside server space for this and chose not to.

As for the install, others have suggested the speed of each individual home wifi network, but I have a feeling it may be installing through bluetooth which is super SLOW. It usually takes me around a half hour.

Can anyone confirm if the AW update is installed using wifi or bluetooth?
