This decision had nothing to do with business. It was coordinated between the tech giants. All banned him within a 12 hour span not based on any new content... just because.

It's political and follows political pressure from CNN and other MSM outlets to ban Jones.

It is entirely political and has nothing to do with Jones and sure as hell has nothing to do with "hate speech" or violating TOS.

There is zero doubt in my mind the US is headed towards civil war. Just today Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens were attacked while minding their own business eating breakfast. They had drinks poured on them and needed police protection to get out of the restaurant unharmed.

So conservatives are being attacked in the streets on a semi-regular basis and now they are being banned from access to any digital platform. The only alternative conservatives have at this point won't be pretty. We are absolutely headed to civil confrontation not seen since the 1960s.

Funny, imagine how it would read in the history books. Much of the country believing in complete verifiable lies, reaching unrest as people who are sick of those spreading verifiable lies start to attack the source. Meanwhile, a foreign power is verifiably trolling the population with verifiable lies with the goal of creating civil unrest that could lead to situations exactly like that. Welcome to the profession, and congrats! - you are in for a journey.

I quickly glanced at your list - please tell that is Arlington, TX because Arlington, VA is 100% not conservative.

As you progress along in your education - I'm sure you will ultimately understand that humans will find any statistic to support their own innate cognitive biases. It's normal. The ultimate goal, especially for someone entering the field of medicine, is to fight the urge of these confirmation biases and understand why the data exists.

I can rattle off many examples of conservative states/counties/cities that are either crime ridden, grossly in debt or highly taxed - and majority white - that's super scary. But that's easy. What hard is understanding why, and letting that inform my assessment rather that confirming my biases. White or black - poverty cares not for race. Conservative or Liberal, crime and poverty go hand in hand. Conservative or liberal - Americans all share the same dream for themselves and their children - to have a home, raise their kids in a safe environment, and have them lead successful lives.

I challenge you to not let your biases control you. It will serve you well in the profession you have now chosen, and I guarantee you won't miss a diagnoses because you suppressed your bias that the patient you were seeing was only drug seeking.

Hey thank you. Yeah, I unfortunately (or fortunately!) made the tough decision to walk away from a great job with Porsche to go back to school. I have my conservative/libertarian beliefs politically, but taking care of people regardless of what they look like or believe in will always come first. I have worked in an ER for a while now and as frustrating as that can be, at the end of the day, it's about taking care of people which is why I made the big sacrifice to go back. I will never be blinded by a differing opinion and my approach to treating patients. At the end of the day, these disputes are meaningless. That is the other part that saddens me about how far apart the country is and will continue to be.

How many of those are Apple letting on their platform? The Sarah Jeong thing is more conspiracy, maybe you should actually dig up those tweets and see what she was actually saying?

How would I feel if criticism of Christianity was deemed hate speech? Kind of like I've felt my whole life in the US?
