I live in Washington, DC. Believe it or not, people keep their political leanings to themselves - it's the tourists who make the noise. And I see enough of it, and I think it's just as stupid on the left as on the right. Only, I have to take a side these days and it's not the one that has the same social values that I do...not that this administration is fiscally conservative by any definition. It's all out of whack, values wise. I'm as sick of social justice warrior nonsense as the next guy...but you know when you're doing something just to be a dick, and these guys think there's some end game solution to being dicks to the left all the time. There's not, other than potentially waking up some liberals to the fact that they should tolerate a bit more.

Sadly, the party that tips the scales of righteousness is the party that seeks to elevate minorities, provide an equal footing for women, tax the living hell out of the rich to give to the poor - like Jesus would (why should I get another gold toilet when my neighbor can't feed their kids), provide a living wage to anyone who wishes to work, provide a college education for every living soul who is a citizen within it's borders, and give healthcare to everyone for free, have a comprehensive immigration plan that includes a pathway for citizenship based on the willingness to get an education and work hard, and make it a requirement that every citizen within and outside of her borders participates and votes - à la Australia - 95%; Belgium 91%; Luxembourg 90% - all the countries listed having compulsory voting.
Voter suppression should be a myth - not an aspiration.

Almost every racist tweet was a standalone tweet, NOT a reply. Furthermore, nobody has been able to show any harassment or racism directed towards Jeong on Twitter prior to her racism tweets becoming public.

It's not false, they weren't replies to TWEETS, I didn't say that. However, read the tweets and swap the terms around and you see they are common racist statements with the races switched.

Forgive me if this was addressed as I have not read all of the posts, but even hate speech is and should be protected speech. Did Apple ever even say what that "hate speech" was, or is this their opinion? I have seen people call things hate speech all the time that are just disagreements. Example...I have seen people saying abortion is wrong being classified as hate speech against women. In reality it is just an opposing view that some want censored. We have to be careful when we call differences of opinion hate, and again...even hate speech is and should be protected.
