Clearly reason and logic is difficult for you? Did you read what I wrote? How can you not understand what I'm saying and just say the same thing over the over.

"People who follow Islam come from many different races. It’s impossible to be racist when you are speaking against a belief or religion or cult."

Because I don’t care what you say it’s very clear that the EDL are racist scumbags and anyone who defends them or Tommy Robbinson I have zero respect for.

The EDL and Tommy Robbinson clearly discriminate against Muslims and Islam, you think that’s ok, that’s your business but I actually think it’s wrong and most people here in U.K. actually know them for who they are, football hooligan thugs who make nazi salutes and look up to a man who has a far right agenda and clearly is a racist.

It’s funny how none of these people talk out against white men who commit these crimes, but as soon as it’s someone who is of dark skin there is uproar.

I think I’ll leave it there, you can carry on defending the EDL and Tommy Robbinson while the majority of people know who they really are.

He was arrested for contempt of court. Live streaming outside a court while the case was going on. I wonder how many times he did that against a white person who was on trial....Oh that’s right none!

Who cares? Why is anybody getting arrested for live streaming outside a public court building in a Western democracy?

Because the case that was being heard was subject to restrictions on reporting to make sure that the case didn’t fall through.

The Section 4 (2) order made it illegal for anyone, in any format, to publish information on the case until the last trial had finished.

it was to make sure that the case against those on trial didn’t collapse.

As much as Tommy Robbinson and the other far right goons want you to believe it, there isn’t a conspiracy going on.

Sounds oppressive and counter to Western principles and values. I would understand more if we were talking about Russia or Iran.

I don’t know anything about that guy and don’t really care what his opinion is, but the basis of his arrest strikes me as rather disturbing. Conspiracy not required.

Tommy Robinson has been actively distancing himself from the EDL for years for a good reason, and has stated several times that their values no longer align with his.

It's up to you to research and see how much meaning there is behind those words, I suppose.

He's from Luton, it's very, very easy to see why he holds the views he does if you consider how the demographic and... I hate to say it, but crime types/rates have changed over the last decade there.

I would rather be right wing and know about all the worlds problems where as the left all they wanna do is be a snowflake its becoming a horrible world shame apple has joined this virus infowars says a lot of good things

They also say a lot of bad things.

InfoWars has regularly accused mass shootings of being false flags and survivors of them as crisis actors by the United States government. InfoWars host Alex Jones has promoted the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting conspiracy theories. Jones was widely criticized for claiming that the Sandy Hook massacre was "completely fake" and "manufactured".

You know the parents of those children have received death threats and harassment as a result of these false flag things spread by InfoWars and their contemporaries.

They rile people up and they have a large following of people who are not all there mentally and believe what Alex says like it's the gospel truth. These are the people sending threats and he is feeding their delusions.

It's not healthy and Apple is not the US government and has no legal reason to allow them to be hosted on their platform. Need I remind you that InfoWars has their own website where their fans can read and watch all their content. Apple, YouTube, Facebook etc do not need to be involved.

And I also think it's kinda ridiculous to put this as a ring vs left type of situation. He does not represent conservatives he does not represent the right or even the far right. I have many far-right conservative friends and even they denounce Alex Jones and InfoWars as being nothing but conspiracies for people on the fringes of society.

Right. The vitriol of the left has never been seen on this magnitude since civil rights. Again, you didn't address the fact that there is a serious double standard between conservative speech and liberal speech and what is allowed and perceived as hate speech. Liberal speech is allowed under all terms and is never considered to be hate speech, but somehow conservatives routinely are censored and accused of hate speech.

Because it is hate speech, LOL

I for one approve of apple doing this. Hopefully, people start boycotting their products and we can get Tim Crook outta there and someone to replace him that has a vision for the company and knows how to build a proper “pro” workstation! #ousttimcrooknow

BANG!
First of all, Apple's transition into a toy company started already under Jobs, and is now deeply entrenched in the organization. Getting rid of Cook is not going to change that development.

And second, if you think a boycott by the Alex Jones acolytes out there is going to harm Apple's bottom line I think you have grossly overestimated how many they are.

"According to who" is the debate here.
According to the owner of the servers that are no longer used to spread it?

Surely some of the music hosted on Apple Music contains themes/lyrics which are also a bit sexist, racist, whatever 2018 buzzword you want to use. Crickets on that angle. Could even consider it dangerous, if you think of the connotations that the "Pumped up Kicks" song has with school shootings or Helter Skelter and Charles Manson, etc.

I mean it's their platform sure, no debate there, but something to think about.

He hasn't silenced anyone.

That's literally what the example shows. Silencing voices that are disagreeable. Literally.

So much for rational.

"Leaders" aren't doing it.

He was the leader of the red party in the primaries.
He is the leader of the USA.
He is the leader of the free world.

lead·er
ˈlēdər/
noun
noun: leader; plural noun: leaders
1.
the person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country.
"the leader of a protest group"
synonyms: chief, head, principal;

Is English your first language? Or do you just use alternative facts? Definitions? Rationale?

No it’s in order to ensure a fair trial, if you were the victims family would you want someone standing outside the trial live-streaming to Facebook? I know I wouldn’t, I would want justice!

There was nothing about his arrest that was disturbing, he was arrested because he videoed a number of people including the defendants going into the court and live streamed it over Facebook.

Shocked how many people are in favor of censorship from all tech companies on the same day

The precedent this sets will be regrettable and irreversible

...don’t care your opinion of the cult of personality that is Alex jones - love him hate him indifferent or conflicted. It’s irrelevsnt to the discussion in my view and peripheral information

I would maintain the same takeaway

Steve jobs would never go full SJW in the form of black balling an outlet that isn’t hate speech whatsoever but has been deemed that to justify and validate their hideous Act

Alex jones has been talking about the same stuff forever now but today is the day they all decide it’s hate speech with such a succinctness. Suspicious !

May be a one trillion company but those profits could conceivably slow up a bit. Can only put up with so much ya know before people just hold onto their devices even longer spitefully haha. Or cause it’s a nice to have but not need to have for as healthy as their margins are and as expensive as their gear is and incremental the upgrades between cycles have become. This is pretty disgusting (imo) and next level. Free speech will be a Greek mythology tale
One day.

What’s most dumb is the oversight. They block the podcast but not the app. The podcast is hate speech but the app isn’t and/or slipped through the cracks. Lol

Great attention to detail there ;)

The fish rots from the head. And the head seems to be Tim cuck. All signs point towards he’s compensating for something or using his activism to batten down the hatches of wanting to control how people think and act. And ultimately vote. As if we can’t decide any of this for ourselves. Too dumb to be given the choice to listen or not listen.

I hope tech ceo’s Have their own period of transparency one day like a lot of Hollywood has undergone recently. I’ll put money they aren’t all saints. Even remotely.

This is a major blunder to Apple’s reputation / and giving them the benefit of the doubt imo and I dont believe I’m just blowing hot aiR

What conspiracy theory? When have so many tech competitors ever come together on a decision so quickly?

Facts are conspiracy theory. If anything Alex jones ranting has been validated:

They really do have it out for him

They’ve shown their cards

He also asked the police who were present if what he was doing was breaking any law. They said he was ok. He asked because he knew he wasn’t allowed to film on court property. Then they arrested him. A little bit crazy if you ask me.

Stop making up words, man. There is no equivalency between Antifa (I assume that's who you're referring to when you say alt-Left) and Alex Jones. Educate yourself on Jones. We can't do that for you.

Source: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Alt-Left

Alt-Left:
1) People, who ban other's freedom of speech, because they feel "uncomfortable" hearing different opinions.
2) People, who physically assault other individuals, and damage both public and private property in the name of "peace" and "love".

Apple, Google, Facebook, and Spotify are Alt-Left corporations, right next to Antifa.

Educate yourself.

Isn’t it funny how the fact that they are Muslim seems to be a thing. How often is it mentioned when it’s white men commiting these crimes?

He was arrested for contempt of court. Live streaming outside a court while the case was going on. I wonder how many times he did that against a white person who was on trial....Oh that’s right none!

Actually he was arrested for a breach of the peace.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes. Cynthia Nixon. Debra Haaland. Pramila Jayapal. Earl Blumenauer. Plenty of examples.

I was about to reply with this list.

It's amazing how people insist they are well-informed or "woke", but lack even the basic knowledge of current events. I'm starting to think we have some Shareblue and Media Matters employees posting fud here to slow down genuine discussion.
