Actually he was arrested for a breach of the peace.

Initially that’s what was reported but he was arrested for breaching the reporting restrictions that were put on the case by the judge.

“restriction order is something called a “postponement order”, under section 4(2) of the Contempt of Court Act 1981. Postponement orders are not unusual, particularly where there are a series of linked trials – for example, where allegations of drug networks involving 30 defendants are concerned, there will be several trials (it not being physically possible to accommodate 30 defendants in a single courtroom). To avoid jurors having their deliberations contaminated by what they might read or hear about the earlier linked trials, reporting of all of them is often postponed until the end. Where there is a separate-but-related issue, such as a contempt of court involving a third party, this can also be the subject of a section 4(2) order.”

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/inew...why-were-reporting-restrictions-in-place/amp/

The only thing that’s out of place here is that Tommy Robbinson decided to show his racism by live-streaming outside of a court where an on going case was taking place with restrictions put on it.

Because I don’t care what you say it’s very clear that the EDL are racist scumbags and anyone who defends them or Tommy Robbinson I have zero respect for.

The EDL and Tommy Robbinson clearly discriminate against Muslims and Islam, you think that’s ok, that’s your business but I actually think it’s wrong and most people here in U.K. actually know them for who they are, football hooligan thugs who make nazi salutes and look up to a man who has a far right agenda and clearly is a racist.

It’s funny how none of these people talk out against white men who commit these crimes, but as soon as it’s someone who is of dark skin there is uproar.

I think I’ll leave it there, you can carry on defending the EDL and Tommy Robbinson while the majority of people know who they really are.

Finally you’ve used the right word “discriminate” instead of racism. It’s important to use the correct word.

I’m not supporting EDL... just calling you out on using the wrong word.

No he was arrested for breach of the peace. You can see it for yourself on YouTube. In Tommy’s words and the arresting police officer.

Later the charge was changed to fit the agenda.

Ok discriminate, they discriminate based on the fact that people are muslim and have the Islamic faith. I'm not saying that i agree with their religion (personally i don't believe in a God) but i do resect their right to believe in whatever faith they want, (after all we live in a democracy) as long as it's not extremism and preaching terrorism.

My point is the same for anyone, as a society we should be inclusive and not exclude someone/group of people just because they are different, not all muslims are terrorists just like not all Germans are Nazi supporters. There will always be a small group of people who spoil it for the rest.

(yea i just read that back and it sounded preachy, i really don't mean it that way)

Ok i can accept that, for a few moments there it really looked like you were, my mistake!

He got 10 months for contempt of court and a further three months for breaching the terms of his suspended sentence from a previous conviction. The guy has a criminal record the length of his arm, ranging from violence to public order offences and so on. He simply cannot keep his mouth shut.

To fit the agenda? come on please tell me you don't believe the rubbish that comes out of this guys mouth. There isn't an agenda, there isn't a conspiracy, but there is a group of people who want to discriminate against others.

Not all Muslims are terrorists, not all those who practise Islam are terrorist sympathisers just like not all white people are racist idiots.

Why is it that when terror attacks have taken place in the U.K there have been idiots who think it's ok to attack mosques? yet what about when a rapist is white or a murderer is white? what happens then.....nothing.....there are no attacks (that i'm aware of)

And the point about Alex Jones (that's what this topic was originally about) isn't the free speech it's that he's dragging other people down, claiming that a high school shooting was hoax obviously caused a HUGE amount of stress and unnecessary stress for the victims family, people who have already gone through enough without having this loony call them out and rant on with his conspiracy theories that are quite frankly stupid in the first place.

Ok i've had my say and i feel like i'm going around in circles here, my overall point is why can't we all just get along in life? we have to live in the same society and the same world. I'm not saying everyone has to be best of friends but at least agree to disagree without discrimination of any kind, it just isn't good for anyone in the long term.

Like I said he was arrested for breach of the peace then changed to contempt to fit the agenda. It’s all there on YouTube for you to see and hear for yourself (the arrest) or you could keep believing the mainstream media’s narrative. Which incidentally and ironically is what ultimately this whole topic is about.

Source: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Alt-Left

Alt-Left:
1) People, who ban other's freedom of speech, because they feel "uncomfortable" hearing different opinions.
2) People, who physically assault other individuals, and damage both public and private property in the name of "peace" and "love".

Apple, Google, Facebook, and Spotify are Alt-Left corporations, right next to Antifa.

Educate yourself.

Resorting to the UD, huh?

Certain things one can talk about and can’t talk about these days before censorship kicks in. When one starts becoming popular and talking about the wrong things you start to realize that censorship not only takes place in China,Cambodia,Myanmar and other middle eastern countries.

Actually there are 3 sides. Your side, my side, and the truth.
You are right sometimes the number of sides to a story exceeds 2. Often in court many witnesses may be called upon to testify in a court case.

Nope. This topic is about Alex Jones.

There are always two sides to a story. Let each side speak.

You really think he's getting a second term? I guess it's plausible but I don't find it very likely.

It's as good a done and I say that as someone who is not a US citizen. Merely a spectator. Trump will be there for 8 years despite the probably 2 maybe 3 unreported attempts to assassinate him thus far.

What conspiracy theory? When have so many tech competitors ever come together on a decision so quickly?

You're using the conspiracy theorist strategy of "just asking questions ", slightly reframing the question in a different way, where it's clear what you think the answer is.

They've been doing it since at least as far back as 9/11 with questions like "can fire melt steel?", "how did that passport survive unscathed?" and "why did the towers fall into their own footprints?"

How do you know about these attempts if they're unreported?

Yes, that makes sense because one thing we know about Trump is he’s good at keeping secrets.

This thread is becoming epic, I'd rather talks Android vs. iOS or whatever - and I am fed up of those tech circular threads.

Cynthia Nixon on ICE. You can surely use Google yourself for the rest of them.

Repeatedly proclaiming that racist statements are satire won't make them so.

So, you have only provided evidence for one of your list (Nixon). The others remain unfounded assertions.

About the satire explanation: it was offered by Jeong herself. As of now, you are claiming disingenuousness on her part, without offering any evidence of the prevarication. Neither have you offered any other corroborative evidence outside of this Twitter exchange that Jeong is racist against white people. In other words: you are jumping to conclusions because it's politically convenient.

Like I said he was arrested for breach of the peace then changed to contempt to fit the agenda.

That’s an interesting understanding of how charged and court cases play out. Are you suggesting that if someone is initially charged by police with one crime (breach of peace), and then is later charged with additional crimes that they commit in the future (such as contempt of court), that is evidence of a conspiracy (or “agenda”.. oooh)?
Because that is adorable.

No. You can be charged with ABH and then later down charged to common assault. What wouldn't happen is you arrested for ABH and then charged for contempt. What I mean is you dont arrest someone on some made up charge then change it to fit your agenda. Thats just not cricket.

There was no breach of the peace in Tommys situation. It was trumped up charges. He also asked the cops if what he was doing was ok, lawful and not in breach of anything. They said he was fine. Kinda sucks right.

The Infowars app is #4 in the top free apps, news category, on the App Store. I wonder what it’s ranking was before Apple delisted Jones’s podcasts. John Gruber had the same question I did, if Apple wants nothing to do with his podcasts why is the app still available on the App Store?

And Alex Jones provides a different agenda to the one being pushed by mainstream media. You need both to see the truth.

Are you suggesting agendas are ok then, as long as it's an agenda you agree with? As for truth, that's going to be subjective.

Jeong, Samantha Bee, Gunn...this is all nonsense. Just the right wanting to "get even". Meanwhile, god forbid it should dawn on them that maybe their heroes wouldn't be called racists if they weren't actual real live racists.

It's an all out internecine war in the USA.

Don't be fooled by the lack of real reporting. In this case the panic and chaos it would cause would be tremendous across global markets etc. etc. It's very clear what is going on in the US. Think Putin's rise to power, why did Putin comes along after Yeltsin. History not so much repeats itself but often rhymes to paraphrase Mark Twain.

Plus you're making the classic mistake of not respecting Trump's power before and post election. It's a fatal mistake. It's exactly what the msm wanted people to believe, this cartoon, this cartoon strawman and you know what it actually suits Trump and his admin - you all think he's dumbo which keeps you looking in the wrong places meanwhile the other states are running round like headless chickens now that someone is actually utilising the presidential executive power in the favour of the USA, who'd a thunk it.

It's actually the kind go power most other leaders respect and understand on the world stage.
