All I got was the apple support hotline, they knew NOTHING about facetime support

Maybe apple should just give you a number for a friend hotline if you don't know anyone with iPhone 4.

As anti-porn as Jobs is, he just opened up a whole new market for phone sex, and has taken sexting to a whole new level! ha :p

Dear Apple, get ready for a solid education on how many idiots and *******s there are in the world who own your products. Also, there are going to be a lot of people asking about the signal issues, so get ready.

I bet it has to seem like Chat Roulette for Apple Employees. I feel sorry for them.

As an Apple stock holder, I find this useless and unnecessary. How many of these callers actually have a problem?

pretty cool that they offer this service for those that honestly want to test it out and ask questions.

I called it.

I called it and talked to a dude with lots of facial hair. He was very educational with a great attitude. Of course there are questions they're not allowed to answer to talk about...

Totally respect your point. But I'm guessing they waste a lot more money on a lot more useless things that this on a daily basis.

I think it's an absolutely brilliant idea (an entirely new level of customer service), except for the fact that people will exploit the service with idiocy.

I'm curious to see how FaceTime grows in the next couple years, when it isn't restricted to just wifi.

got through

Second call landed me at facetime. Nice guy brandon. Walked me through some of the features and uses of facetime. I think this is a GREAT customer focused service offering for new users. Just shows the thinking AHEAD that we expect from an apple

Just having to deal with a large volume of calls about the exact same thing all day must get annoying but at least before they had the benefit of no one being able to physically see how annoyed they were.
