Or Best Buy... or Fries'... or your college Campus' coop store... or simply borrowing your friends' Mac.

You could have also said "and what about Steam ?".

Still, just saying, posting a screenshot of you using a Mac is not proof you own a Mac. It's only proof you posted to MacRumors using a Mac.

Post an image of you using your Mac. Please? I'm really interested if you look like I imagine. ;)

Can you really be this unaware that human sapiens come in different sizes and not everyone has the same sized hands?

I feel like a fool having to explain to you that a bigger phone will be preferable for a person with big hands, and guess what... a little phone will be preferable for a person with little hands !!

So it's really nothing to do with Apple losing design vision is it?

you should feel more like a fool for saying human sapiens when in reality it is homo sapiens.

also just so you know, maybe if you are the size of Lebron James you can use a phone with a 4.8" screen with one hand. I had the SIII and i know how big it is and also i do not have little hands.

It's 'iPhone Max'

iPhone MAX makes sense for several reasons.

1. They have already called 'smaller' versions of the iPod and iPad 'Mini' and 'Max' is the opposite and would use the same naming scheme to use for a 'large' iPhone.

2. With so many consumers getting used to the 4.5-5 inch smartphone size, particularly on Android and now on Windows phone and the new Blackberry 10 it only makes sense that Apple go after this market. The Samsung Galaxy series of phones has sold in the tens of millions of units and the huge demand for such other large screen phones such as the Nexus 4 and Droid Max/DNA/etc...shows that there is a substantial market there. Many people would love to buy an iPhone but are turned off by the smallish size screen when compared to these larger phones. This opens up the large screen phone market to Apple and would be a smart move.

3. It seems obvious to me that 'MATH' was just a chinese native speaker misunderstanding or mispelling 'MAX'. iPhone MAX' makes sense...on a number of levels. 'iPhone MATH' does not.

so...does that mean they should never ever ever do a larger screened iPhone since they're "late" in bringing one out?

Of course not. Apple has been playing ketchup for a while now, and it would be in their best interests to continue to do so.

From what I have heard, the iPhone is yesterday's news to young people, and that is utterly destructive to the brand and to the profits in the long run. If Apple keeps copying Google and Samsung, they may well be able to regain their former market share. If Apple starts to innovate again, they may regain their former mind share. Time will tell.

I can see the commercial now....

"From the company that makes everything smaller and lighter comes a phone that's............Larger.......The iPhone Max"

Hopefully with Morgan Freeman doing the VoiceOver.

Stylus!

To do freehand math on the screen, like the awesome MyScript calculator and to match or exceed the Galaxy Note.

So here's a random (although equally unlikely) thought. Maybe "math" means that it's not a new iPhone, but rather an Apple graphing calculator. We know that Apple is interested in the education sector, and TI's offerings are getting a bit long in the tooth.

I'm hung like a horse.

Anyway, as far as iPhone is concerned, what exactly do Apple need to do to satisfy the critics on here? What innovation are you looking for?

Apple have ignored screen size for too long but did well to increase height not width.

I'd be interested in another increase in screen size but why not jump to the next increase 5.4" and then call it a day for mobile screen size. This would be for a iPhone Pro or math. The next increase 5.4" is where the competitors will be but that's as far as they can go without being stupid.

The regular iPhone should be made cheaper and colourful. iPod touch style.

That or I'll dump my iPhone for a iPad mini with Skype!

hmmm...all these larger screen rumours come out just as I'm considering jumping ship to the new Xperia Z.

I'm pretty sure Apple have bugged my office and are monitoring my internets *tinfoil hat*

On a side note why do they cripple every phone?! C'mon no SDXC!
