Yes please!
God no, my 4S fits nicely in my pocket , any bigger and you would need a handbag...oh sorry manbag to carry it
Yes please!
When Steve Jobs was there, apple used to bring new trends and dictate terms. People bought what he said was right. Not the other way around. Apple never used to build devices from suggestions made by people.
When Apple lost Steve, so did the power they had over the people...

However it's clear that you hate Android & are not here for a discussion.

They just need someone with the balls to be confident. How difficult can it be, really? Hell, I'm up for the job if Apple is willing to hire me!
Well look... Apple isn't the leader in smartphones sales... Samsung is.
Apple isn't the leader in smartphone platform market share either... Android is.
Those two data points alone place Apple in 2nd place. However... it's a strong 2nd place.
In the last 4 quarters... Apple's least selling quarter was only 26 million iPhones. The thing is... those are phones that start at $450 (but the bulk of iPhone sales are $650 and above)
Apple really does sell a ridiculous amount of phones considering they only sell mid to high-end phones.
There will always be people who "defend" Apple. But the truth is... they aren't going out of business because of their "silver medal" status.
Honestly... people should be more worried about the 3rd place company![]()
And yet Apple has about 60-70% of the profits of ALL phones being sold while Samsung spends 10x what Apple does on advertising.
Who cares as long as they release it!
iPhone Max or iPhone XL sound good![]()

I think this "but it won't fit in my pocket" spiel is starting to get a little played out.
I usually wear fairly nice fitting, snug pants, yet I've still got tons and tons of room left in my pocket when I pop my iPhone 4 in there. I could easily fit something the size of a Galaxy S3 in there without feeling too crowded.
I mean really...

The S3 isn't that much bigger.
The pocket argument is invalid.
I can put a note 2 in my dress shirt pocket or my pants pocket with no problem.
Phones are still pocketable

No, just no. No no no no no, NO. Buy an android device, please. Stop making it sound like bigger screens are a necessity. THEY are not. this is simply a matter of taste. If you want a bigger screen, buy a phone with a bigger screen. This does not mean apple has to do the same, and I hope to god they don't.

Then please explain how Porsche have released pretty much the same car, (911), for 30 years running?
Again with the "If you want something Apple doesn't have, get an Android, don't wish for Apple to get it"
If everyone thought like you did Apple would never improve the iPhone.
...We already have enough screen ratios to worry about. Unless this is a painless thing for developers, I don't think Apple will be stupid enough to hurt its app developers.
Because copying Samesung and going with a bigger screen = innovation?
How about overhauling iOS and focusing on innovation with software?
Not a good move, IMO, but then again, Apple has been consistently drifting away after Jobs' absence of vision and direction, so am not really surprised. Job strongly believed in providing "one" solution. Apple's success is contributed heavily to simplicity and "one" played a huge role in it. Multiple sizes is deviation from his philosophy and Apple will continue to decline, as reflected by it's share prices as well.
it is funny how the apple fanatics here are having strokes over the thought of a 4.8 inch iphone when they were just few months back complaining when a 4 inch screen was announced for iphone 5. they kept on saying say a 3.5 inch screen was big enough. yet they were first in line to get the iphone 5.
you jokers will be the the first in line for that 4.8 iphone as well.
you should be be happy they are getting iphones are getting bigger screens. a lot of people do want phablets nowadays. had apple came out with this phone math back in october i might have picked that up instead of a note 2.
