OK it's 8:17 and mine still shows at being at the Dest Sort Facility; i.e. airport. Anyone else who's phone got in last night show any further progress, either at the local station or out for delivery?

Apple says 23rd, FedEx says 24th...Which is it?

Concord, NC. It was unexpected because I wasn't sure if it would get delivered today or tomorrow. Just mak sure to leave a note at your house and they will leave it.
I'm a happy guy today. Now I just am worried about dead pixels lol. I have no luck in getting a good screen lately on any of my toys.
Sigh, got off the phone with FedEx and they say my package is in town but at an airfield and is scheduled as "in transit" to another local facility before it gets to me. Basically even though it's been in town since 12am, they haven't moved the package anywhere closer to me, and as a result I won't get it today. My delivery date has always said the 24th. I am just upset that it really is so close, yet a whole day away.
Mine is also at the sort facility in Chicago. The office that my shipments regularly come out of is north of Chicago in Northbrook. Granted, it's still 7:24 here.
If it doesn't move from the sort facility is there any basis for picking it up myself? Can I go there and receive my package?
Mine shows being at the local FedEx facility as of 12:24 am.
So we'll see what happens now.
Mine has moved on from the dest sort facility and is now in a local sort facility. Currently says its in Ft. Lauderdale about 15 minutes away from where I live. Hopefully I get it today! I did get the email by the way, and it still reads the 24th on FedEx's website
Same boat here. Received the email for delivery on the 23rd, but my phone is still at the Philadelphia sort facility. I know it still has to pass through another local facility that puts it on a truck for delivery (in the burbs). And I still have a 24th by noon delivery date. So it looks like Apple pulled the trigger a bit prematurely on the 23rd delivery date email.
Mine also says it's at the destination facility. Still needs to go to local hub. While I did receive the early notification email stating delivery for today, FedEX still reads the 24th.

Same here. Usually by this time, if it's coming today, it has gone through my local sort facility and is "out for delivery".
It's not following the usual tracking pattern if it's coming today - which does not seem to be the case.
This is kinda related, but I ordered a Mac Mini last week and it was delivered by Fedex yesterday the 22nd. The whole time I was tracking the inbound package it showed a delivery date of the 24th, all the way up to the time that it was delivered. So sometimes you can't believe what you see on the Fedex tracking site.
Yep. Like a lot of other people, mine was in Newark NJ all day yesterday, only to arrive at my "dest sort facility" about 6 hours ago (2:30am EDT). That's the last update I have. Still says delivery by the 24th, 4:30pm.
I spoke to FEDEX. Their online system must not be updating in real-time. The CS rep told me my phone has been loaded on the truck for delivery today by 4:30.
So that takes care of that.
I bet this is true since so many of us are stuck at our sort facilities. Just makes the statement from the email about tracking it to our doorstep a little ironic...

HMMM. When, in the past, I have had to talk to UPS or FedEx people, they have the same info to look at as you do.

Well if she had the same info that I do, then why is it that her internal system stated in her exact words "On truck for delivery"? I clearly don't see that on my end! Are you insinuating that this person lied to me? Or, worse, are you calling me a liar?
I spoke with someone at FedEx who said the package was slated for delivery tomorrow by 4:30pm. I said that Apple had confirmed via email that the package should deliver today. She said that I could speak to someone in the IPD department--they handle the Apple account. But they don't open until 8:00am central time.

Agreed, those folks with jobs and concerns over leaving the phone on their doorstep will surely be disappointed as a result of that email. Schedule changes, maybe even taking the day off for nothing.
As for me, I had made plans for the 24th so even if they attempted today I wouldn't be home to sign. I expect they would make a second attempt on Thursday. Based on it's current status it won't be today so as odd as it sounds I'm happy.
Here is me. Fedex.com still shows a delivery date of June 24 (I was a very early shipment) and not on a truck. I'm in Downtown KCMO.
Simpletracking.com shows a bit more of the detail FedEx usually hides from the user. Mine originally had a delivery date of today, but at some point changed to the 24th.
It's at the local center, and the last tracking info I have is "Left FedEx Ramp" at 9pm last night. FedEx usually loads these things up in a truck before 8am here, so it looks like it's just going to sit where it is until tomorrow.
It may still get on a truck, but doesn't seem likely. 10 minutes and a whole day away. Oh well

I'm in the same boat as most everyone else. Got the email from apple saying it will be today, but order still shows at dest sort facility and delivery by 4:30 pm on 24th.

Mine arrived st the Dest Sort Facility at 12 AM and fedex shows it still there. I checked simpletracking.com and it says it left the fedex ramp, whatever that means.
