So wait, the phones will be available to buy in store 8am on Friday morning? But I thought Angela was killing lines and in store sales and pushing everyone online? At least that's what people here said...

Some people, including me, like to get up early and queue up for the new iPhone. Why would you want to sit inside all day waiting for delivery?

While i too installed it on day one. I still wonder what the major version number change was for. The switch app screen is different but i can't say i like it better. On my iPhone 6 i find it too sensitive i often have trouble closing the right application.

And what about the changes to Siri? In the german language mode Siri still sounds consideribly worse than english speaking Siri.
Asking Siri about german football results? She has no clue about it. Telling Siri to play even a famous classic song from Apple Music? She will not understand a single english titled song at all and tries to interpret any english as some meaningless german gibberish.

When i asked her to play music from "Kaiser Chiefs" she told me she couldn't find anything from "Kaiser Cheese".

At least the new font is better. But that should've been there since iOS 8.0.1.

Can't wait to run iOS 9 on the 6s. It'll feel smoother and quicker. Also the deep press to switch between apps looks good too.

Sometimes the obvious answer is the obvious answer. Less space needed to install the new OS equals faster adoption.

It's a much better OS than 8.x was, at least on our 6 and 6 plus (haven't tried the first gen iPad mini yet because I'd rather have that jail broken for xbmc/kodi).

Honestly 8.x was the worst OS update in terms of performance for us. My 6 plus had plenty of hangups, lag, Safari errors. So far it has been much smoother and more stable on 9.x. I wish this was the OS we got last year. Forget the new features (loving the back button). I'm just in love with the stability. If I realized the 6 plus would run this nicely with 9.x I would have seriously considered not upgrading (and then upgraded anyway lol)

While negativity is a bad thing, iOS 9.0 is working perfect....... So is total blind faith and optimism ;)

I have to wait till El Capitan is released on the 30th before I can update. I don't want to loose my notes syncing between my iOS devices and Mac's.
I do have an iPad Mini 4 but signed in on a different Apple id for now to use till I can update all devices at the same time.
I don't think iOS 9 will talk to OS X 10.10.5 and don't want to chance it. Everything is too smooth right now to mess it up.
iOS 9 has been great. Can't wait to upgrade all.

I have iOS 9 and LOVE it...Proactive Siri features will really make my life easier. I installed it on my wife's phone and she HATES it...not because of anything really important but because she just doesn't like change...she even doesn't like the fact the system font is now San Francisco.

I wonder if these ever increasing adoption rates are a sign of better, newer features, or an indication that users are getting tired of their current versions of iOS and want an upgrade sooner?
Probably all of the above. I would guess that the fact that we can actually update full versions with low free storage is great too. The fact that the OS takes up less space itself and promises longer battery life is a selling point as well. Over the air updates are definitely a boon for OS adoption. People just don't plug in anymore.

Lol. My wife is the same. I asked her "what's wrong " and she couldn't tell me. She doesn't even know what's different about it lol.
