My ISP sucks and Apple servers suck. Just had to get that out. Now I feel better. Not.
Yes, that is with the latest iOS 9 beta.
Also confirming that Handoff works in the iPhone to Mac direction as well.
Super duper uber noob question here: when El Cap is released to the public, how do i leave the beta program? Do I just DL the public release from the App Store and that's it? Or do I need to wipe my rMBP completely?
Thanks for answering my dumb Q lol
Actually, you have to wipe your computer and start all the way back at Cheetah and then do each delta update in order. Takes about 36 days.
Kidding of course, GM will first be released as a developer preview/public beta so presumably you will already be updated to the final version before anyone else, but of course, once it is available to the public, you'll just do a App Store update like you have been doing each time a new preview is released.
I've been on the DP since beta 1, why is the App Store showing that my latest update is PB5?!
p.s I am on 10.11 Beta (15A244d), which is DP6, but the App Store never shows them.
Looks like you missed a few DP betas. The last you installed was 4. We are on 7 now.
Handoff isn't working with CAT for some reason. I don't think having iOS 9 will make any difference.
I said underneath what I wrote that I am on 15A244d, which is beta 6. It just doesn't show up in my AppStore like a lot of others.
Did it fix the long standing bug where you can't add calendar events from mailed .ics files?
just download the final public release
I use full screen apps all the time on the 11" Air, there are many times I would like to put a small app on the side while the menu bar is hidden away.
However, now there is an option to hide the menu bar in El Cap, it does make it less useful.
How did you delete mail plugins? I am having the same issue with Mail crashing
Can someone post the direct download link to the delta + firmware update?
Ah, that's a shame. Hopefully the CAT devs will get a chance to look into getting it working again!
Not on macrumors. It is against the rules. I did it before and got banned temporarily. Such links exist however. You will find them on apple's developer forums.
double-tap the window title bar.
Well yeah. It affects native Battletoad installations. Makes them less snappy.
Started downloading 90 minutes ago, still got 30 minutes according to the progress bar.
From the first beta Apple still doesn't fixed the system freezing problems... -.-" great....
Took about 3 minutes for me
Strange it's taking so long for some folks.
Just double click the toolbar instead,it'll make you smile.
I don't have any 'El Capitan 2' did a get duped?
People complaining about the performance of BETA software is as annoying as people who honk their horn in a traffic jam.
hmm, I downloaded the beta5, it restarted, but then it froze. I restarted myself and the update wasn't installed. I try to update again but every time the app store downloads the update, I click restart and the app store says the download has changed. So os X restarts downloading the beta.
anyone any tip?
Speak for yourself. The vast majority of users are more than happy with the UI. Try Windows then tell us what you think of OS X.
