It installed quickly for me (I'm on a 7) and Mail seems better behaved (no more phantom draft messages!).

Fantastical still crashes whenever I try to create an event, though, so I've been slogging through all of the betas using the Apple calendar app (ugh).

Can someone please outline the instructions of installing the full ipsw since the software update wotn' verify? I am on catalina with the new gargage music app.
In Catalina, instead of iTunes you will be using the Finder to connect to your iPhone and install the IPSW file.
Normally, you must have done this already, at least once, specially if you are a Developer.

My iCloud settings were all set right and a reboot didn’t fix it. I was able to correct the “No Sender / No Subject” issue by removing all of my Mail accounts and also turning off my iCloud mail, then deleted the Mail app, rebooted, reinstalled the Mail app, and added back each account manually. What I had initially tried on the prior beta was just deleting the Mail app, rebooting, and then installed it again from the App Store, and then went back into settings and enabled all of my Mail accounts again. Removing them and adding them all back manually was my fix. Updated my files bug, too, letting them know.

I’m still not seeing any options to move an email to a folder from within the email. The only way I can move an email to a folder is by swiping and choosing Move from the list of emails in the Inbox. Also still missing the “Delete All” option in Trash after selecting Edit. I’m having to hit Edit, then Select All, and THEN delete. And even then it doesn’t always delete all of said emails. And this is after adding my accounts back just now.

I just discovered something! when you're viewing the message, try swiping to right/left. I noticed they hid shortcuts there, instead of the dedicated "move to" buttons that used to line the bottom of the email messages.

Still so many bugs and glitches. As soon as I entered my password after the install, I flipped my IPP11 around, and the dock stuck to the top of the screen. Messages app came up empty, and wouldn’t fix itself with closing/reopening the app. No way this OS is ready for a GM yet.

I know this is about dev beta 8, but has anyone seen a new public beta today? I'm not seeing anything on my X even after re-booting. Mail is the most problematic app for me. It was OK after I installed the beta last weekend, but has gotten progressively worse, not syncing with my Exchange account unless I kill and restart the app.
The public beta is usually released one day later than the dev releases, so tomorrow for you.

I use idevicerestore on a Mac. Add the -e option for a clean install.

I am familar how to do this but the new itunes hasn't worked on my mac until the beta this week. However, it appears all good now. The only way I could install beta 8. Thanks

!!AWESOME!! THANK YOU for this. It does make it easier, I just assumed it was a bug, missing the option in the bottom left bar of the Email.. I mean, there's all that blank space like they forgot to put it there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[doublepost=1566419243][/doublepost]A new bug I found in iPadOS b8 is that any apps that you have dragged to the dock as a favorite, when opened, they still show up on the right side where the 3 recent apps are listed.. It should just close back down to it's spot in the dock :-/
Another bug reported...

Did you upgrade Reminders to iOS 13 format? If so, that would cause Fantastical to crash. It probably requires Fantastical to fix.

Nah not this far along sonny. Hour two hours tops. Just like last week. This will be the case until GM unless there is a really botched update.

You do realize anytime you update iOS/iPad OS there is a period of time where the system has to rebuild databases/caches. Messages will be "blank" until this is done.

I’m not sure if it’s the beta or my AirPods going bad but have you all had a lot of connection issues with AirPods? Will show as connected but either won’t play or won’t produce sound. Reboot fixes for a while. I’m leaning towards AirPods as my right one only gets about 30min of life anymore. And none of the components will charge to 100%.

I am having the exact same issue. I have to forget device and reconnect every time I want to use them

I'm on the latest public beta but may switch it to the dev beta. The latest public beta essentially made my phone useless. Internet on both Wifi and cell data is ultra slow and often doesn't work at all, messages are froze, force quitting doesn't do anything, restarting, resetting network settings, etc, none of it works.

Same for me, exactly the same. Was this the previous Beta or the one released today?

You're very welcome! I'm afraid the developers were banking on "discoverability" of the user to find that one. I concur, and that would make sense that you thought something was buggy. I've been using Spark for my email client for over a year now. I opened the stock Mail app and played around with it, after seeing your post on here.
I like the look of Mail in dark mode. However, I think I really do miss the features that are beneficial in Spark, such as Snoozing mail, more swipe features, along with scheduling an email. I still don't understand how Apple hasn't implemented this in their own stock app. It's nice to compose a message to get it off your mind, no matter the time of day, but then schedule it for the next morning as to not look like a complete insomniac.

I appreciate your response, but it’s a bug, not due to rebuilding caches. The same has occurred during the last 2 updates, days after I performed the install. Sometimes closing and restarting the app fixes it for a brief period, other times I just need to reboot my iPad. The problem has repeatedly returned. I’m switching to my IPP12.9 and see if it has the same issue.
