Is anybody else missing the feedback app? Or more importantly: Does anyone know how to get it back? Mine went away when I went from the 9.0 beta to the 9.1 beta.

I'd like to tell them that the icons in the update section of the app store are just grey squares, but I cant.

The grey squares are gone for me in Beta 5.

You probably jumped to the developer beta last time as the "trick" to update sooner. Doing so removes the feedback app. You have to have the PB profile installed for that.

App Updates icons are not showing leaving grey squares but this has been fixed for me in Beta 5.
I doubt it.. :) Updates starting this morning/last night seem to work, I have a hole of several days with all gray icons. They worked this AM, still work, and the gray ones are still there.

Do you mean, that ones that were gray are now back? This was known to be an Apple server issue, and not an iOS one, BTW.

Updated both my iPad mini 2 and iPhone 6. Both still are pretty much exactly the same. Opening apps has a little bit less of a delay, but other than that, it's all exactly the same. I have no idea how PB4 and PB5 are such HUGE updates but change nothing! When will control center on my iPhone 6 perform the same as or better than the iPhone 5?? When will my iPad be able to do something as simple as the app switcher smoothly? Entering and exiting the switcher is a total train wreck. It even suffers on my iPhone 6. Not okay.

For whatever reason these updates are being sent down as full updates rather than as incremental updates.

Perhaps there was an issue with incremental updates in these betas that they are working on fixing.

Perhaps they don't care enough to build incremental updates for the tiny percentage of users running betas.

Either way, I doubt it's indicative of how much has changed. If it's not incremental, even changing a single file would result in 1.something GB update.

Makes sense. Still frustrating seeing how bad iOS 9 performs when it was supposed to be better than iOS 8. I'm going to keep sending feedback until the issues are at least looked at. How does a 15FPS app switcher make it out of testing?

Maybe 9.2 will be our performance update, 9.1 is meant for iPad Pro mostly so they can't focus much on performance as they should.

Does it support transit maps in Boston or any of the other cities slated for October support? Just curious about what the holdup is, and if it is dependent on the release of 9.1...

Transit maps still not available in Sydney

Need to reinstall the public beta profile to get the feedback app

Yeah seems its an App store issue. If you click on one of the gray ones to go to the app store description, you will see there is no icon in the app store for it either. I have several this way and all of them have no app store icons.

I hope this has fixed Apple Music constantly deleting my saved songs for offline listening. They randomly delete themselves every day or second day without me doing anything

Some punk (probable the guy in charge of the Settings app team) is probably sitting at Apple HQ now laughing his a** off over this. Get your act together Apple. This just looks terrible.

Hopefully this will fix the POP3 mail issue.

Issue is emails in Mail app on iPad/iPhone show no content :"this message has not been downloaded from the server" (when the email content was previously visible) when using POP3 mail account after email has been downloaded to another device (ie: computer running Outlook that downloads message and deletes from server).

On a 6 plus.

Noticing the fingerprint unlock is faster.

Was taking about a second or 2 to unlock! #iphoneproblems

This is strange.

Some apps were deleted after the update.

Instagram and Google sheets.

Very strange

This issue has been fixed for me for a while. I'm still on beta 4 right now. I think it was a backend thing that they addressed.
