Slight correction: The 2010 and 2012 Mac Pro are not supported. Mac Pro support starts with the 2013 model.

Agreed. I'd just call them all "appleOS", with carveouts for all devices (ie, appleOS for the watch, appleOS for the iPhone, appleOS for the Mac, etc.). Simpler and easier. It'd also make sense, with all Mac applications eventually being UIKit'd, and/or Marzipan'd anyway. One single OS to rule them all.

How is iTunes? Does the iTunes Store still exist? Can you disable Apple Music? Do smart playlists still exist? And is the mini player still there?

Music app still has multiple references to iTunes, Movie and TV content restrictions. Uploaded iCloud Music library songs are present in the Music app. Store is gone gone.
