Much like the old one.

What a relief, and if you're going to your playlist the "plays" of how much times you've been heard a song is still there?

Scrolling in Music is *fast*.

Music app still has multiple references to iTunes, Movie and TV content restrictions. Uploaded iCloud Music library songs are present in the Music app. Store is gone gone.

edit: Actually Store can be enabled via the menu. Weird.

Store being there is the most important thing for me. Is it also still possible to disable Apple Music (the service, not the app - stupid app naming)?

OneDrive doesn't see my existing OneDrive folder... signing in again doesn't fix it.

FYI, Final Cut Pro DOES NOT run on Catalina. Dialog says FCP is not compatible with macOS 10.15, with a link to the App Store.

Anyone able to see if TVShow/Movies can be on a separate drive than the music library now that they are separate apps?

Anyone else able to sync/update an iOS device from the new Music.app? Mine just shows a couple of songs when I click on the device.

For those testing the Music App, Let me know if iTunes Match as a service is still alive.
Also interested on the Music Store, just to know if you can access it from within Music app.

Thank you!

Ok I installed Mac 10.15 Catalina and decided to install iPad OS. All instructions on the internet say use iTunes. However, iTunes is now gone with once Cataliina is installed. Now I have to figure out to install iPad OS. I thought that once Catalina was installed it would have some obvious steps to install iPad OS.

Plug your iPad into your computer and then open Finder.
You will see your iPad listed in the left pane.
Select it and you will see the new interface that replaced iTunes. The Restore button is there.

iCloud Music Library still exists so I can assume that this means that service will be around for the foreseeable future. I have a lot of music I got outside the iTunes Store and had matched to versions in the iTunes Store. Every song of my 60k library is still there including all playlists and playlist folders. Hope this helps!

Did the iTunes "Internet Radio" function (as opposed to Apple "Radio") survive in the Music app?

Yeah, that helped a lot! Thank you so much!

-Written from my iPad Pro 11” that soon will become almost a whole computer thanks to iPadOS.
