I hope this one FINALLY makes the iPhone 6s less of a pain to use. 6 iOS updates in two months and a new iPhone 6s later: apps still hang, touchID and charging don’t play along, and the battery is a pumpkin. I miss iOS 9.3.5 so badly it almost hurts.

as a 7 owner, after about 6 months of having horrible battery life, i'm SO happy with 11.2, it's pretty much like i've got a new phone. i was so used to bad battery life that i'm constantly surprised that it's mid-day and i still got 60 or 50 percent battery. i hope they don't mess it up in a future update.

While everyone's experience is different I have not seen the issues you described as being unique to ios 11. Certain apps always hung and needed to be cleared. I have never had an issue with touch id and charging on my 6s (never for emphasis). I might agree with you on battery life to an extent, but the latest beta seems fairly solid in that department.

6S, beta 4. Interesting. I just tried this. I do not have this issue with the flicker.
Even if you close mail, re-open an then read e-mail? This is the only time it happens to me, and i was wondering if it is corrected in this updated

Have to laugh at the wording of this update, regarding the calculator: “...to obtain the correct result”

Just say that the animations broke the simple, default calculator app. Such an embarrassment..,

You can still make a downgrade to iOS 10

No. I don't want to have to deal with the split control center again. I want iOS 9.3.5 also because it was the last iOS iteration to feature aesthetically pleasing edge-to-edge UI before Apple decided to vomit Symbian-like translucent rounded containers onto its interface and make all typography 3 times larger.

strange, yesterday i went to an apple store and all iphones x had the same flick issue happening at the top of the screen when opening the first email after reopening the email app
