If videotoolbox is being used by safari during playback that should show OS level support for hardware acceleration

Yes, but it runs pretty hot on my MBP 16 5500m, the real test is running 4k HDR, as it drop frame like crazy.

The inability for Mail to add an attachment (via the paper clip icon) has been fixed in this beta. In Beta 3, I could only attach files via drag and drop. I am very happy about this.

No. thanks. I've been sick of flat design ever since iOS 7 and OS X Yosemite. We've been flat longer than we've been skeuomorphic. I'm welcoming the latter's return. Design exists in cycles anyway. Skeuo would have catapulted us into the holographic by now if not for us regressing back to the days of Amiga Workbench and Tandy Deskmate.
