Haptic Touch and force click still not working on the Magic Trackpad 2. Wonder what they did that screwed this up in Monterey!

Wonder if some background code to enable universal control is actually causing these wonky behaviours in trackpads in general

Two new meh features and zero bug fixes. yup, that seems about normal.

What's your issue? I've had no problem at all doing time machine backups of my MBP 14" to my Synology NAS on any beta really.
I've got two NAS both configured as time machine drives and both working fine on my old MBP under Big Sur - a really old ReadyNAS NV+ and a WD MyCloud - and since getting my new MBP a month ago time machine goes through the motions of finding files and backing up data but never updates the last backup date. Part of the reason I installed the 12.1 beta in the first place was to see if it fixed this issue as I was also having it on 12.0.1. These were inherited backups from my old 2013 Intel MBP, so to see if it was the inheritance that was the issue I removed and re-added one of them and chose to delete the existing backup and start a new one and that is now still "Waiting for initial backup to complete" 2 weeks later despite having gone through the motions of doing a backup several times a day. Seems to be a reasonably common issue and M1 / Monterey related looking at various forums - my wife's 2017 MacBook is backup up to one of them without issue on Monterey 12.0.1.

Ah, another beta release that my M1 MBP refuses to show even after multiple seedutil resets and reboots. I've had to resort to waiting for the full installer to be released and then upgrading using that, but if anyone knows of a decent workaround to make updates appear I'm all ears.

seems to be many little annoying problems with Monterey
glad I stuck with Mojave and stopped sniffing glue this week!

I always have that same issue. What I end up doing is reinstalling the beta profile. the updated never just shows up just like it does on the Intel machines.

Hope they fix the Time Machine (not completing 1st backup on some M1 with Monterey) serious bug resulting on time Machine backups inexistent

Works fine on my new 16" MBP M1 Max. Certain machines people seeing this issue on?
I have 12.0 on 16” MBP M1 Max. Tap to click makes my blood pressure go through the roof at least ten times a day. Very difficult when editing text, completely unbearable when doing anything graphical. Clicks about 50 percent of time, jumps at double-tap-and-keep-to-drag. Dragging anything on the screen is a nightmare.
