The only emoji I need is

El Capitan has been rock solid and very performant for me. Other than a glitchy Mail badge for one of my IMAP accounts and a highlight problem in Coda, it has actually fixed a few issues that were present in Yosemite.

Yup, here's the note that I read: https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...6076b0da547f?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US&fromAR=1

That being said, if the patch does help reduce the instability (anyone know?), I might just pull the trigger and install Office 2015 on my Mac anyway and take the chance. Any suggestions? or still better to hold off?

Hopefully they'll finally fix wifi drops and make it re-connect automatically, or fix laggish/jittery mouse pointer movement with many logitech wireless mouses (M510, performance MX, nano V550, g300 wired)

Uh how long have you been using computers? It's not a Fad. Emojis have been used in emails since the 90's.

Ummm... What has been ongoing with emojis over the last few months is ridiculous and NOT the same as the long-standing inclusion of emotional character strings. Don't be so condescending.

My Performance MX was having problems with the pointer jumping all over the screen and windows scrolling back to where they had been prior to my scroll wheel movement. I unplugged the Fitbit nano for awhile as well as the Logitech nano and considered switching back to my wired Logitech mouse. However, I also used my vacuum to clean out any dust and hair from the mouse; it has no obvious means of opening to clean it.

When I plugged in the nanos, and since that time - several months ago, I have had no further problems.

What I do experience (using OS X 10.10.4) is Numbers spreadsheets appearing as completely blank pages, necessitating closing the spreadsheet and reopening it. Of course, it may be due to the fact that it is part of the iWorks that came with my Mac in 2008 or that the dozen spreadsheets are open along with a dozen or more Safari windows.

Ugh. An update can't come soon enough. Quickbooks no longer communicates with Mail to send invoices, there's constant stuttering and spinning beach balls whilst trying to navigate through Safari... But, most infuriating of all is the complete freezing of everything except the cursor. Nothing responds, so it's a reboot every hour or two. Come on, Apple!

They hopefully fixed that annoying Preview.app bug on the 13" rMBP.

Perhaps you are referring to using Quick Look in one of the Spaces and having it follow to another Space but closing the Quick Look causes the display to jump back to the first Space in which Quick Look was accessed.

I hope new HP drivers are included, my scanner function is funky right now.
Also, lots of spinning beach balls at times.

It is my opinion that the problem with HP and its funky scanner function (frequently losing the wireless connection to the computer) is due to HP and not Apple.

Put screen previews back in spaces! FFS! This is driving me nuts and BetterTouchTool is overkill and I'd rather not have it on my computer. 6 cores, 64GB ram, a PCI-E SSD and I have to suffer bad UI/UX because of... the fear of a stutter! Ever since they took Computer out of their name, I swear.

Well folks, regarding the beta of 10.11.1, I like it a lot better than 10.11.0. At least I can have my mail archives upgraded to El Capitan and HAVE the ability to read my mail archives. In 10.11.0 of El Capitan, even after the supposed upgrade, I don't see the "On My Mac" archives.

What I did was to copy my mail archives from Yosemite HD to the 10.11.1 beta HD, have it upgraded, see the "On My Mac" archives intact.

God, I'm happy. Just hope the 10.11.1 beta ends soon so I can move fully on to El Capitan.

There was a patch for Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac, this should've solved the problems (at least it did for me).

Didn't for me unfortunately (the patch). Does this OS update make it anymore usable anyone know?

Hoping Apple fix the wifi issue taking time to connect. What is it with Apple and Wi-Fi problems?

It's pity that Apple would focus .1 for happy faces. How about actually fixing "under the hood?"

Amen. Haven't upgraded to El Capitan yet and wont until I hear about some actual bugs getting fixed. If Apple's going to make the first maintenance release some glorified stupid icon pack then I guess I'll be waiting for 10.11.2.

Who knows...next thing they'll fix on .2 is sad faces. OR "improve music collection."

Do you really think OS X needs a >1gb patch for just emoji? Bugs are being fixed.

How long have YOU been using computers?! Certainly not in the 90's! Those where emoticons - not ****ing burrito emojis! And emoticons exist since longer than the 90'ies (specifically: in around 1986 on some ASCII NET Japan).

So much for history distortion...
