Can someone check and see if devices like the Nintendo DS or Android devices connect to a Personal Hotspot? MyWi can't do this because it works in adhoc mode, not infrastructure mode.

Is there anyway to get this without being on the developer programme?

Yes, but you have to pay a few bucks to certain sites (do a google search, we're not allowed to post them here).

Ok, thanks a lot.

Installed on iPad, new multitouch gestures are sweet, but can see myself activating them accidentally. Also what about quad+ touch drawing and doodling apps?
So good to see the switch to return to something usefull

I am really hoping that Hulu plus gets enabled for airplay. Then I can cancel my cable. Other then that, my apple TV has been kind of worthless since I can do netflix on my 360

Id agree with you, but my AppleTV is so small you can't even see if sitting on my mantle... a 360 on the other hand would be an eyesore!

But yay to the AppleTV evolving. I picked one up having high hopes that it would pay off in the future, we are slowly stepping towards that it seems, so woot.

Does the Personal Hotspot feature work on the iPad? Meaning, can I create a personal hotspot on my iPad, using my iPad's $15/200MB/month plan?

I honestly never used the switch for either.

Maybe iPad 2 will have no home button? I doubt it but these jesters seem like your going to be using the home button a lot less.... Only if they allowed the iPhone 4 to go horizontal on the home screen.

Update: TUAW reports that the new beta also includes support for new four- and five-finger gestures on the iPad. “This beta release contains a preview of new Multi-Touch gestures for iPad,” reads Apple’s developer page for iOS 4.3. “You can use four or five fingers to pinch to the Home Screen; swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar; and swipe left or right between apps. We are providing this preview before releasing them to the public to understand how these gestures work with your apps. Test them and give us your feedback on the Apple Developer Forums.”

If they don't fix the aTV HDMI sync bug with this release, I'm going to be all kinds of pissed.

I doubt that. I contacted Hulu asking why it wouldn't display video on a TV screen when using a video cable from Apple. I was told that their licensing restrictions do not allow their content to be displayed on a TV screen, though they were hoping to enable that feature in the future.
Netflix works fine with a video cable though so maybe it will support AirPlay (I only tried Netflix after getting the negative response from Hulu)

Could this allow for apps to be seen on a tv? Could I play Angry Birds on my HDTV and control it from my iOS device?!?
Not very likely, games don't work that way (i.e. the video in games isn't coming from an H.264 stream and it would be very difficult for any iOS device to do realtime video conversion from their display buffers into an H.264 video stream). However, Angry Birds could update their app to support video output over a component or VGA adapter. There are a number of games that already allow that, Chopper 2 being one example (and one of the first to do so, I believe).

Q.1 Does personal hotspot work with iPhone 3GS ?
Q.2 Does personal hotspot work with iPhone as hotspot for iPad WiFi ?
Thanks.

Yes, personal hotspot is there (must call AT&T to enable tethering) and taking a screenshot has a new sound.

Ha! If this indicates the personal hotspot will only be available for tiered plans, just like tethering, I am switching to Verizon... sounds like Big V will offer unlimited data plan and personal hotspot.
