"iOS 5 Beta 4 failed verification because you are no longer connected to the Internet"

Awesome. Restarted, closed the app, prayed to Allah, nothing worked.

thanks ... it is now downloaded :)

EDIT: but now it tries to verify the update and it fails claiming I am no longer connected to the internet :-(

Have you tried flicking airplane mode on and off? as that's just worked for me, now got apple logo with the install bar! :)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/9A5259f Safari/6533.18.5)

Have it downloaded, of coarse its prompting me to install, however in not going to until I hear some positive things, like, it will install. Found a weird bug tho, when you are in iTunes, on the actual phone itself, when u try to preview a song(such as the .69 cent just added) it will show the progress bar, like the song is playing, there is just no sound.

Yeah that's been a problem in beta 3

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do you manually back up in iTunes b3?
plug it in to your computer and sync

Hmm, iPhone 4 was able to get the update no problem, but the iPad 2 still says it's unable to check for updates.

My iPad 2 just finished installing and my 3GS is still waiting to finish the download.

I started them both at the same time.

I think it is just the overloaded apple server ... on the iPhone I kept clicking retry until it worked, on the iPad I got lucky and it worked the first time.

Both devices are still rebooting/installing ... seems to take much longer than doing it through iTunes.

Plug your phone in, or over Wi-Fi, whichever you prefer, go to iTunes and right click on your phone on the left side of iTunes where the device is and blah de blah. This brings up a drop down menu, and you can click on Back Up. Third or forth option down I think.

Thank you!

Nice, all the setting and apps are still there, you don't even have to restore from icloud! Impressive.

iOS 5 beta 4 has just installed here. Any questions or tips that I should try? Nothing new to see so far... Installed via OTA btw.
