My OTA download took about an hour. It finished installing a half-hour ago. So far, so good.

To be clear, thats a wired sync. iTunes beta 3 doesn't have a built-in option to enable wireless sync. We Windows users will need to wait for the beta 4 installer to use that feature.

the facebook problem with uploading photos in beta 3 no longer is an issue! 😀

Tho google plus still crashes at every chance!!

Do we need to resync with iTunes to get the data back to iPhone/iPad?

OTA required no restore on my iPhone.

Updating my iPad via iTunes is still in process and does require installing and restoring.

I just downloaded and installed the Beta 4 OTA. It took about 4 minutes to complete the process! So much better than those 800MB ipsw's!

It seems that these long times we have seen are due to lots of devs hitting the servers all at one. I think your experience is more what one should expect in the real world.

I'm having the same problem on the iPad 2. I've rebooted countless times, but still can't get it to see anything. I'm a registered developer, but for some reason, can't get it working. The iPhone 4 update was just fine, but this???

Over the air update worked first time for me from b3 to b4. Lost my photos though. 😱
