Apple Seeds iOS 7 Beta 2 to Developers with iPad and iPad Mini Support

Siri is working much much faster than it was in beta 1.

Also the new male/female voices were added.

That's weird, the BGR notes for Beta 2 say

Is the progress bar moving at all over that time? I have a 4S and it seems kinda slow, but moving along at a slow pace.

After only a few short hours, my iphone 5 is updated to beta 2. Not in the developer program either, my phone works fine.

Interested to see it on the iPhone 4. If the UI is still as broken as it is in beta 1, I can't for the life of me understand why they bothered supporting the 4.

Optimizing it for older devices is probably one of the last things they'll do. In previous OSs, some features which were originally not available on older devices became available, or worked better than they did in early betas.

While they seem to work well on the iPhone but slow on the iPad...shared photo streams work! Time for collections of pics and vids! Someone start a cool backgrounds photo stream and add me at jason.childs@icloud.com

Bug fixes - yay!

The phone app freezes seem to have been fixed.
The bug in the visual voicemail display list has been fixed.
Oddly, in addition to the Voice Memos app, the Nike + iPod app is also now automatically installed (and cannot be deleted 😡).
The bug that makes Podcasts freeze has NOT been fixed.

Interested to read what others have found.

Good to see that they've put the 'swipe right to go back' gesture back into the music app. Also non-English lyrics (or lyrics in general?) seem to be working again.

Also, Spotlight seems a lot more responsive when searching.
