Where do you find the installer? All I see is the profile option to download from Apple Developer website.
Ether use a machine running Mojave and install profile allow it to find update and download but don't install. Installer will be in your application folder. Or software update restore defaults, restart reinstall beta utility it will the check for update a prompt you to download full installer.

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I fear losing iTunes.

AppleTV app has so many bugs in the common code base, I know I am going to streaming access to movies, etc.

This may be the first MacOS release I skip—or more likely delay until I can’t take it any longer.

Did they fix the iCloud syncing problem? My iOS devices can see all files at the route iCloud Drive. my MacBook Pro running Cataline DP10 can see only half with stuff in my Recovered items directories on my 2017 iPad pro and the MacBook Pro. I hesitate merging them until I know the problem is resolved.

wait a few days after it's been released and see what people are saying about it, i usually wait until MacRumors or 9to5 mac has made a youtube video about it before installing.

I was barely going to restart for Beta 10 then Beta 11 popped up. Good, but Catalina has been annoyingly buggy for me -- nothing major -- but minor inconveniences throughout. The Music app remains a dumpster fire. Let's see how it goes on this GM seed.

I installed it. No beta logo seen anywhere.
Fans are spinning like crazy.
No visible difference vs Mojave.
Keychain keeps pressing me to sing in but it's not working somehow...

Not mine, PB 10 installed yesterday PM and build # is 19A578c

If you got it yesterday, it would have been PB 9, not 10. Indeed that build 19A578c is PB9/DB10 - not PB 10. PB 10 was only just released a few hours ago. Download it again if you want PB 10.

I miss iTunes a lot, being able to see large artwork for albums etc. The Music app is not a looker, that is for sure, it reminds me of how Windows programmes used to look. Not a fan so far of the TV app either, iPlayer is not integrated nor ar any of our other networks really.

So I installed it on my MacBook Pro (my iMac is now installing it) and the first impressions are not that positive. iCloud Keychain takes forever to activate and when I go to preferences I am asked to update my iCloud settings. When I do that I am prompted for my iCloud credentials and then my local credentials. After that nothing happens...

Windows Me was pretty bad. I think Me had two things: Microsoft tried to back-port Windows NT/2000 features like system restore, and the creaky base couldn't handle it, and second, Windows Me was designated for home users as businesses had all gone Windows 2000, so Microsoft skipped out on testing.
I used ME for quite a while and it wasn't any worse than 98 really. People just have fond memories of 98. I have fond memories of 95 but I know if I used it now it'd be super painful.

About this Mac still reports this as "Version 10.15 Beta." There's strong odds this isn't the release build.
A GM build number wouldn't end with a letter. This is rather the GM Candidate 1.

There have been more than one before.

I have a feeling Mojave will end up lasting a long time, just like dear old Snow leopard.

Saying that, I noticed only adobe was my 32bit application! Really Adobe...

For those in mission critical work and stability i think staying put on Mojave for the foreseeable future is the safe course of action...what are you gaining in mojave anyway...or more precisely what are you loosing?

To where does the installer go, when you're already on Catalina? I want to do a clean install by building a USB boot stick

*Edit: Found a older Mojave VM install and got it over there...

Oh my god, my first Windows computer came with `Windows ME` and it was a terrible experience! Only reason I got it was that the college required Windows. BRAND NEW COMPUTER that ran like crap and very buggy! Truly mindboggling how Microsoft was proud of that broken beast. There was a huge marketing campaign around it, too. It's taken them a while, but they've wised up.

No macOS will ever be that bad!

I will install Windows ME on a VM and try it out again. I remember back in the day, I decided to just migrate to Windows 2000 for my main machine. I had upgraded to Windows ME for some things and I only remember some problems with some printers and scanners that needed new drivers and the video card and sound card. I did a fresh install and it seemed like a cleaner version of Windows 98.

Anyways, I want to try out Windows ME in 2019 and try out some old Windows apps and see if I can find anything wrong with Windows ME. I remember liking that Windows Video Maker tool that came with it.
