i absolutely hate that you can't make the window wider. WHYHighly doubt Apple is going to change it much between now and GM.

I encounter the same issue. The widgets are blank. Anyone has solved the problem?Widgets on this release don't seem to work at all for me. None of them. I've tried restarting and just logging out/in, and still no dice.
After, I re-enabled it, using this:defaults write com.apple.dashboard mcx-disabled -boolean YES && killall Dock
Everything is now working for me. I hope it will help.defaults write com.apple.dashboard mcx-disabled -boolean NO && killall Dock
I tried that, and my widgets are still black.About the widgets issue, I could solve the problem via the terminal.
First, I disabled the dashboard

Was in the last Beta already.New option for Stage Manager in this beta? One of the consequences of this option is that, in Mail, when you create a new email, the new message window and the main Mail window co-exist on the same 'stage', rather than the main window immediately diving into the 'cast'.

Those commands are nothing to do with the current issue, but are related to the Dashboard (RIP). They're not going to do anything.This isn't working for me, no matter how many times I try it. Nor does rebooting. Booooo
I used Stage Manager for about 5 minutes. I wish it wouldn't work, since I find it nonsense.Stage Manager doesn't work for me anymore. Anyone else?
Same here, no widgets showing after running the terminal commands a few times. Hopefully the next beta fixes it.I tried several times, and even tried restarting, but the widgets are still black.
I can't find this setting, and I have looked everywhere under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Privacy.So in system preferences, under privacy, there is a new option to ask when connecting new devices. It was set to always ask, but the finder popup disappears (bug) so you can't click on it and go ahead mounting the drive. Solved by selecting to always allow connecting devices.
