I still have no idea why Apple calls it TV since there is nothing "TV" about it. I was hoping with the TV app, I would be able to view content like I do on my Apple TV such as my Spectrum cable app. It makes about as much sense as it did for Apple to include movies and TV shows in iTunes.
I do not have this problem, and I haven't seen it thus far.The bug that causes Messages to crash when quit (if not waiting for a while after launch) is still there!
Shame there’s (seemingly) no new Xcode beta.
Xcode 11 beta 6 is out (the Xcode release notes link still mistakenly points to beta 5 notes at this time though so I can't tell what's different). How are the Release Notes for this beta? Any progress?
I hope a new beta for Xcode 11 shows up today too.
Firefox 68.0.2 (64-bit) is working for me on a Macbook Pro. Maybe an extension is causing a problem?Sad day. I have to have Firefox to do work. Went back one version, and did a completely clean re-install of FF. Still crashing. Welp, this beta is done for me. Reported it all to Apple and Firefox.
Mine got that bug after installing the previous beta and was still there after installing this one.The bug that causes Messages to crash when quit (if not waiting for a while after launch) is still there!
My Sonnet 350 booted up (several times) to login screen via DisplayPort to Sonnet to Thunderbolt 3. The Apple logo did seem a bit delayed though.Man, I hope this updates the firmware on my mac mini that been giving me the white screen of death when you are booting up from the EGPU monitor and not the built-in HDMI.
It feels like it's getting there.
Current issues I still have:
- Archive Utility still crashing whenever a zip file is opened, and unzipping never completes. Can anyone else confirm - it's happening on both of the machines I have on the beta.
- Continuity / Handoff / App Watch unlock still not working on frontmost logged-in profile when using Fast User Switching ... but this has been a bug throughout High Sierra and Mojave too, with no indication when it will be fixed from Apple Support.
Fixed for me:
- Messages crashes
- Apple News not showing all content, with endless spinner
- Music navigation bugs, as mentioned in release notes.
... will add any other bugs I find
I know, right? How dare they release a version of software this buggy!Let’s hope the train wreck is finally getting cleaned up.
Not having any of those issues, actually Beta 6 just fixed the Watch unlock for me and sidecar is also working again, both stopped working in beta 5. I actually think Beta 6 is very polished and may be ready to be a daily driver.
Is there a FireFox fix?

Thank goodness. Xcode 11 beta 5 was getting to be a mess for me; hopefully this goes a bit better.Xcode 11 beta 6 is out (the Xcode release notes link still mistakenly points to beta 5 notes at this time though so I can't tell what's different).
May I ask what it is you do that requires FireFox only?Sad day. I have to have Firefox to do work. Went back one version, and did a completely clean re-install of FF. Still crashing. Welp, this beta is done for me. Reported it all to Apple and Firefox.
