When will it let us delete all this "Bloat Ware" ????

The most Pointless and overhyped request IMO.

At this point is so much effort to re-code iOS so you can delete some apps and save what, a grand total of 100MB? I'd rather the software engineers at Apple focus their efforts on something that's actually worthwhile. Add a "hide" feature, that's all we really need, and very little coding required in order to do so so it's not a massive waste of resources.

Design is not an opinion. How big our hands are, how big a thumb is, how much we can memorize, how our eyes react to blue bright light after sunset. These are all biological facts and good design takes them into account. Icons exist for good reason and a good icon for Night Shift is a metaphor for light in the dark. You can't go better than bedside lamp. And that's a fact. Make a focus group and test it, if you don't believe me. The people will not get what the eye-halfmoon-lemon is supposed to mean.
I don't doubt your taste, just your understanding of what "fact", "opinion", "subjective" and "objective" mean.

How is the performance on the 6 Plus compared to 9.3 Beta 2?
Right now i have 9.3 Beta 1 because the second beta was super laggy .

My time isn't showing until i open an app or at least 15 seconds after unlocking on my 6s Plus

I have been running the developer beta, but for the past 2 releases I have been unable to update OTA. Does anyone have an idea why that may be? Thank you!

Your thoughts on what the icon should be is ... in fact ... 100% ... an opinion.

Design is also opinion-based, since design is subjective.

You have to have a profile installed on your phone now to receive OTA updates. Log into the developer portal, and the link for the profile is right by the download.

That's quite interesting. Didn't know that these icons have already existed since 8.1. But the fact that Apple keeps adding @3x assets (the group icon to switch between users, for example) could mean that we're likely to see a higher-resolution iPad in the near future. Maybe the Air 3, or the Pro 2 in fall (which seems more realistically to me).

So have you focus grouped and user tested both icons and do you have the results as to which one was preferred?

It is an opinion. For me, I don't really care whether it's an eye or a lampshade. I understand Apple should sweat the details but the look of this icon is totally subjective.
It's not. You're wrong. If icons would be subjective every OS would have another icon for the trash bin. A gravestone, a toaster or even an eye to signal you should look again at the files before you finally delete them. I've seen eyes as icons for all kinds of apps now and they've always been a poor choice. Look at the mail app, it shows a post stamp, but could also be an envelope or apost horn. But for gods sake don't use an eye icon to symbolize the mail app. That's just wrong. Not subjectively wrong, but objectively wrong for all human people including you.

Wouldn't matter anyway: FACTS don't require focus groups. Focus groups, by their very definition, are used to gather OPINIONS, PERSPECTIVES, and attitudes toward something. Qualitative and subjective.

Preliminary results have it, that I've not found one person in whole internet, who said he likes the moon eye better than bedside lamp. Do you want to become the first ever human being to do so? But you already said you don't care. Now people who do care like the lamp. All of them.

Finally, there's an option for Apple Music which lets you choose whether songs added to a playlist should also be added to "My Music". I've been waiting so long for this!

Since Beta 1, it also shows the popularity of songs when viewing an album, similar to the iTunes Store.

On Beta 2, I noticed that the behavior of the Now Playing screen has changed. Now, tapping the song title will take you to the corresponding album, and you have to tap the cover to bring up the star rating.

So when I burn you with fire and you say it hurts, than that's just an opinion? No matter how many people say the same, we will never know it for a fact, right? So the red woman in Game of Thrones can go on burning people, because death by fire is the purest death. Keep your subjective opinions about fire to yourself. It's all a matter of perspective for as long as I don't have to look at this ****** icon myself.

So far beta 3 has been buggy. Nothing showstopping as far as I am concerned, just annoyances that will have to be dealt with for two more weeks until the next build. This is what we signed up for, test updates and report bugs to be fixed.

Not a key feature along the lines of Continuity, but an option that they would like to highlight during WWDC. I don't think that option will ever come, actually - they're deeply entrenched within the OS. I can see them finally allowing default app options, though. (or, at least, I'd love to see it)

Google paid Apple $1Billion so the default search was Google. Apple isn't going to let users pick default apps without someone paying Apple.

Since iOS updates are free, you get what you pay for ;)

I like the eye better. There, you found one :)

This post makes absolutely no sense. You're comparing pain from fire, which is a scientifically provable thing, to something completely subjective.

Yep, some opinions are more generally accepted than others.

If he says it hurts, that is his opinion. If he says he feels a sensation of pain, that is a fact. He may not actually feel pain but his neurological systems are generating that sensation for him.
