I hope iTunes just works, ever since th split up, none of my own music is available or and of my movies. I can browse the stores but none of my stuff is even available to see.

I hope it fixes Apps not closing despite force quitting. Already has happened twice which has results having to force my mac pro off as it wouldn't shut down as the said app interrupted the shutdown or reboot, And i hope it doesn't bring another stupid emoji!

Good news with this update:

I still have had times when I had to restore my email back to my last good Time Machine Backup (but still have to restore the ~/Library/Mail/V7 Directory; not going to try Apple Mails Time Machine interface again until things get more stable (makes recovery more complicated).

Does it fix:
The continuous disconnection of BT headphones
Fix the desktop files from getting stuck in limbo in the desktop

Just out of curiosity. The restriction on root folder still the same? I mean you can't create new folders on root folder, is that changed in this beta?

That's unchanged. You can create symbolic links at root, though.

Do you have something connected by Thunderbolt by any chance?

Nah, not even a charger.

Basically if any of the MBPs in my office are up longer than a day or so, reboot takes 6/7 minutes and the OS reports an error on reboot.

Also shown here: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/372183/catalina-crashing-at-shutdown-with-this-error

I think it's to do with certain kernel extensions (such as virtual box) however, I need that type of thing for work, and wasn't an issue previously.

Do you see a "Library" section in the sidebar?

Still cannot access the Pages directory at the root level of iCloud Drive. Numbers finally appeared about 5 betas ago. I can access Pages directory using Mojave and iOS 13.3.1 beta. I have been reporting this bug since October.

Does anyone else have problems with Music not letting you drag and drop albums, songs, etc onto your plugged in iPhone?

I have to drag the albums into a playlist and then drag the playlist onto my iPhone. It's weird as hell. This has only happened since I updated to Catalina and I can't seem to find any fix for it.

Hahaha. You mean that bloated piece of crap ware- windows? macOS is already way better

Huh?
[automerge]1579893177[/automerge]

You sure it’s not downloading and indexing your system like it has to do on a new machine?

Pfffts dreamworld you must live in.

Mac OS is so much "way better" than Windows that it still has a minority share of the OS market and keeps having features removed (Disk Util is a useless POS now and I don't think Apple has any plans to ever fix it).

Apple is going to kill off the Mac, it is clear as day given their crap hardware and intentional crippling of Mac OS.

Windows 10 is bloated, Microsoft is really pissing off their user base but they don't care about anybody other than their enterprise customers. But at least my computer works..... my ThinkPad is 1000x better than any Macbook or MBP released since 2015.

Mac OS has become so unbearable that I've just installed Windows Server on my Mac Mini. It's doing a much better job that Mac OS sadly.

What are your problems? My god I hope there's no reports of data loss. I'd never forgive Apple.

My below bugs are related to my photo library stored on external drive, photo library on external drive is set as "system photo library"
1)Photo stream synchronization bug - when my external drive is disconnected I no longer receive notifications when someone add photo to my shred photo stream In the next step when I connect external drive and open photos then I don't see those photo stream updates I need to disable photo streams and enable one again then all my photos stream updates are in place. This is weird behavior on previous macOS Mojave version even my external drive has been disconnected I was able to receive those notifications and when my external drive has been connected every updates has been in place, so this behavior is a huge step back according to previous version macOS Mojave and keeping my photo library set as system library on macOS Catalina is really painful and not usable.
2) after opening and closing Photos App I'm not able to eject my external drive, in my opinion all photo library processes should be stopped after my request to eject external drive.

And in iCloud Settings in presences panel my iCloud profile photo is not synchronized with iCloud

Several recurring problems, some mentioned already. Are these discrete issues? Do they occur only when they coincide?

Running external Mac monitor on iMac 21.5 inch, late 2015, 8G. Waking the external monitor requires several tries to catch the right moment in cycle time, I think.

Is two-monitor setup causing app hangs as noted below?
  1. Firefox mail hangs, esp. with Facebook running for long periods. FirefoxCP Web Content process grows to >1.5G memory, sometimes several separate processes running.
  2. Thunderbird mail app hangs, not sure whether separate from Firefox.
  3. Usually force quit hung app does not clear system to relaunch the app. Have to shutdown or restart.
  4. Sometimes shutdown or restart fails after a force quit, have to use power switch to shut down.
  5. Sometimes shutdown turns into a restart with a crash report. But Bluetooth is broken, so I have to plug in the magic keyboard and plug in a wired mouse. And restart once more.
Thanks.

Still on Mojave. I never liked OS upgrades as I use my mac for work and bunch of thing may go wrong, but this time I'm petrified and thinking that maybe I'll wait for 10.16 hoping that it won't have (or try to have) any new features and will be focused on bugfixing, stability and performance.

iOS 13 didn't help the impression. I had photos (a native app) crash on my new iPhone during photo editing many times. This was 13.2 I believe, how is that possible that the basic native feature was crashing? Something is going horribly wrong at Apple.
