why even buy a smartphone if you're just using it to do calls...unless you're just using as a fashion icon like 99% of the buyers.
I'm not wearing my phone around my neck. Believe me I saw a person who did.
I'm just saying that a smartphone isn't so smart.
The only thing you can do better with a phone than with any other device is making calls.
For any other task there are way better devices.
Come on, using my phone as a full media centre solution at home...
Customizing a smartphone, how far will you come...
Serious reading or writing, even on an iPad not as good as on a Laptop/Desktop, quicker yes but you need for browsing screen space to show all of the content in an appropriate letter size.
These features are just a nice to have but nothing more like toys if you want to take it serious.
I've heard a lot about that people won't hear what they have to do, but every OS has it's function which say to you what you can do or don't.
Also people who write that kind of stuff, like to be a rebel, cant afford apple solution, just giving back what they heard elsewhere or even just fighting for their device (replaceable thing / commodity).
If I see someone who write serious code on his phone in order to optimize it, we can talk about configuration. But changing only a color....
Apple a fashion icon, maybe for some people in the beginning as they were quite expensive and not so common. But today where is the difference? Nearly everybody has an iPhone, and those who did not have a HTC or Samsung solution with a similar design and price tag. Hard to see from some distance what kind of phone someone use, isn't it...
And is it important anyway..?
An iPhone because of it just works with no trouble, got a music player for listening on the go and an app where you can check your mails, all bounded into a compact nice design with value.
My media is in iTunes, so that's also a fine combination. There're also other good media solutions out there, but you now a migration whit quite a lot of content is not the evening task I'm looking for just because of maybe 1 better feature.
Go for another phone, no need, even if I don't use all of it's features.
Do you now someone who did, or did with his laptop/desktop?
They're only just a few features used by users on their demand and interest.
It's sad to see the trend that phones grow into mini tablets, especially with their screen size.
Why?
Try to use it with just 1 hand.
Or try to put it into your pocket whiteout letting it look like you have a boner

But you know what I mean..
Today I saw a girl whose phone was way bigger than their hand.
Looked like a Hobbit holding a human mug.
Maybe a S3, does it exist in white?
