sounds quite boring.

I hope to be impressed. It must be getting more and more difficult for Apple to continue to out-do themselves on these events, so we have to give them some leeway on that. Not every event is going to be breathtaking.

I really, really, really hope they deliver the 4" iPhone at an affordable price. The iPhone 6 is just a tad too much (in Canadian currency), and getting the 5s just feels like investing in outdated technology, when combined with a two-year mobile contract.

I think we may be in for a few surprises at this event, iPads, iPhones (low end), Watch bands and iOS 9.3 will all be highlighted of course.

Craig said in a recent interview about a big update coming to iTunes, I wonder if that will get some screen time..

No... Why should those who want a 4in phone be punished with an inferior device? Besides, I remember at one point Apple would brag about the fact that each one of their products contains their premium features. Just goes to show you how far they have drifted away from what made them great.
Wait wait wait, as far as I can tell they still do this. All watches have the same features, and the iPhones of the same year are only differentiated by the screen size and the optical image stabilization. All of this other stuff is rumors. Saying they've drifted based on rumors is ridiculous.

Loop as in infinite?
Maybe it'll be mainly about their new campus.

Side note, I'm fairly new to Apple products, only from the iBook G4 after they hooked me with the iPod and iTunes.

I know that their style is to sort of put you in to a loop of their products, for ten+ years I willingly chose to be in that loop since it offered me satisfaction and haven't regretted it.
Sadly, I'm not sure if it'll stay that way recently and hopefully this next event will still let me think my choice was right.

New watch straps. Is that really what Apple is nowadays? A fashion company?

I hanker for the good old days when Apple launched proper hardware which blew away the competition.

Innovation my arse.....

If I can remember correctly, one of the things Jobs would've never wanted Apple to be was a fashion company. I guess that's what happens when you hire the former CEO of Burberry to take over as Retail VP.

Look at the shape in the top left corner containing all 4 phone colors on the invite. It's the same curved edge shape as the 6. It even represents the back case (darker color) meeting the screen (lighter color). The iPhoneSE will be the same shape as the 6!

Pink Panther says: "I have a suspicious feeling about this keynote."
Cool Joe (cigarette camel): (puffs cigarette): "Don't worry...it's gonna be COOL."
Darth Vader: "I hope so ...for your sake."

Why would that be sarcasm? Most people who want a smaller iPhone want it for the size, not a cheaper price, so if Apple tries to pull it off as a low end model it won't sell well.

I agree with where your coming from never was I doubting that, but I feel Apple would create a 4inc non-flag ship iPhone.

As you say they have drifted away so far.
