I feel near on the same for this one, i'll watch it of course but its not as gripping

I agree too. I hate to say this about Apple being a big fan. Probably stating what many have already said before. But after Steve Jobs, there hasn't been a single Apple event that I would say has been anywhere close to the ones he presented in. Or at least for me it hasn't generated the same level of excitement. I hope they "Think Different" for this one.
.Nothing exciting about a processor upgrade for the MacBooks....boring....My thoughts, it looks almost the same for the last decade.. we need a dramatic design change that makes it look futuristic and above the crop of current laptops out there.

Thanks Siri ;)

Interested to see what the new iPad will be like, but that's it. Don't care about the smaller iPhone and don't care about new watch bands. I've been waiting on the second generation of Apple Watch patiently.

I get to do an "employee purchase" through my university where they take the payment out of your paycheck over two years. You pay no interest or tax, but do pay $100 to set it up. You can get a desktop and a laptop if you want.

I'm due for a new purchase in the next few months, and to be honest, I can't find anything that I want. I don't know if that means that Apple's previous products are so good that after 2 years there is no compelling reason to upgrade anything, or if it means that in two years their products are so stagnant that I can't find an excuse to blow a few thousand dollars.

I miss the days when they came out with something and I lusted after it and just couldn't wait to have it.

Interesting how the interest in apple events this past year to me has been declining.

I agree. I think technology has hit a slump honestly. What else can you really pack into a device like the iPhone that will WOW you like it did years before? Dual cameras? Meh. Thinner design? Meh. No audio jack? Meh. Right now, it's all about software. Making it better, more advanced to take advantage of all the hardware. I would love to see Home Kit blow up and become something great.

It's all really mediocre right now. Especially when the parts start leaking and you already know what the phone is going to look like months in advance. Takes the WOW out of it.

I am looking forward to what they decide on displays. OLED has been in the air for a while and I am curious to see how well Apple implements it. I wouldn't mind seeing wireless charging either.

That's because we are spoiled. You used the word mediocre, applied to technologies that let us retrieve information from the other side of the world in a matter of milliseconds, all while keeping in touch with hundreds of friends from anywhere in the world, while we watch HD videos and movies.
All from devices that can be carried around in a pocket, or even on a wrist. Something that ten years ago would've been considered almost Sci-Fi.

Sometimes we should go on youtube and check videos of the "good ol' days" stuff... do we really miss the WOW factor of a Modem's sync noise that lasts two seconds less, while we go at 14.4K baud up from our beloved 9600 baud?

OK... I'm going to post this, so there is documented proof that I am FIRST and therefore amazingly awesome...

I wish Siri actually told me relevant ****. Like, show me sushi restaurants within 10 miles, that cost under $30 dollars and are open until 11.

She can't.

What she can do, is some stupid college humor and sass that I have grown tired of. Was cool for a bit but now I actually want her to do things that matter.

"Loop you in" makes me worried Apple is only going to increase the emphasis on the Watch again; let's hope they have something really special in store, because the current Watch is a pretty pointless companion device I don't care about.

I dunno, a new watch probably is a possibility. They have been discounting the hell out of them recently...

What if "let us loop you in" finally means that iOS 10 will integrate third-party applications as native handlers for email, text, phone calls, browsing, calendar, contacts, notes, reminders, voice integration, etc.?

I like Siri, but she's admittedly frustrating at times, and Google Now seems to understand context a lot more often. And others may like Cortana.

It could just be better integration with everything else, and maybe that will include third-party apps that have gotten too robust for iOS not to ignore any longer.
