I love the marketing of it right as we start Daylight Savings Time. I can't wait till they announce the watch. It will be so great to have a piece of Apple Tech on my wrist!

Spring over Broadwell right into wireless charging Skylake processors? Oh Apple you tease....

"Spring Forward"

Oh Apple, you cheeky bunch of kids.

Hasn't it been a while since we've had a spring event? That's kind of fun. I wonder if there will be any other surprises. Sometimes Apple event names have double meanings. It would be pretty funny if they unveiled a whole pile of updated devices, literally springing forward. Even though that is extremely unlikely, I'm going to keep dreaming in my little dream land about iPad Pros with drawing stylus and other weird stuff.

Ima crie and pee just a little bit. Unfortunately I'll be in CLASS right when this thing starts. I may just not show up!

It's about time! If they waited any longer people would be ticked off, especially with Apple winding them up for so long. I guess we'll have to watch and see how it goes, it's all in their hands now.

In the end, who knows! People might love the Apple Watch so much they go back four seconds, or they might just feel like they wasted their time.

I wonder how much thunder this invitation will steal from the Galaxy S6 launch, and whether that was even Apple's intention.

Hoping the regular Apple Watch with Milanese loop will be around $600. If it's much higher I'll have to stick to the sport edition.

Lets hope they announce the extension of Apple Pay to Europe and Canada

I don't care about the watch as it's of little use in Europe without Apple Pay

x2. Plus I'd love to see rMBA and AppleTV updates, both of which have been purchases I've been holding off on.

Sadly no. It was just stated that Apple aims the end of the year for Apple Pay in Europe.

Stated by whom ?

We're still waiting for iTunes Radio

If Apple does not extend Apple Pay soon, people will see no benefit to it and the alternatives (like the recently announced Android Pay) will gain traction

We knew there were a bunch of unanswered questions, so an event is not surprising, but the timing might have to do the Pebble Time kickstarter. Apple wants to remind people their product will be better and come out first. On a related note, I think if the Pebble Watch can get $10m within 48 hours of being announced, the Apple Watch is going to do just fine, as I expect the Apple Watch to be wildly more successful.

I thought their announcement was being delivered during MWC, which is next week. Apple's event is Monday the following week.

I like that picture, nice pastel colours and nice flower design.

Really very very nice :)

Apple said they hope Apple Pay to be in Europe by the end of the year. But MacRumors ran a story not long ago stating that UK banks may be ready to begin offering the service as early as April. At least, I think I saw that somewhere.
